Mason Heintschel Ties Pitt Record With Seven TD Passes
Sophomore quarterback Mason Heintschel tied a Pitt program record with seven touchdown passes in the Panthers' 59-14 thumping of Miami of Ohio. Heintschel's performance tied Pete Gonzalez, who threw seven touchdowns against Rutgers in 1997. All seven touchdowns went to different receivers. Heintschel finished with 453 passing yards on 31 completions. Heintschel was only drafted in 9% of Yahoo leagues this year. He should be a big-time waiver claim this week. Pitt doesn't play a ranked team until October 24. The Panthers have a run of easy matchups, meaning you can start Heintschel in any given week.
