Sam Leavitt Runs Wild In LSU Debut
When we last saw Sam Leavitt, he was battling a Lisfranc injury during the 2025 season. On Halloween, he decided to have surgery and end his season. He became the prize of the transfer portal. Leavitt's return to the field was a triumphant one as LSU blew out Clemson 51-10 behind his strong debut. Leavitt completed 16-of-28 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown, but the real damage was done on the ground. Leavitt carried 12 times for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns, tying Wisconsin transfer Dilin Jones in both yards and touchdowns. There should be no further questions about Leavitt's foot.
