Mississippi QB Trinidad Chambliss opened his 2026 season with a 41-38 win over Louisville on Sunday night. Chambliss completed 21-of-36 passes for 336 yards and three touchdowns. Chambliss also carried the ball nine times for 60 yards and a touchdown. The bad news is that Lacy lost a fumble for the first time since joining Mississippi. He also threw an interception in this game. Chambliss threw just three interceptions in his 13 starts last season. This was a strong stat line against another ranked opponent. Chambliss accounted for 34.44 fantasy points in Yahoo leagues, which was good enough for the 8th-best fantasy performance by a QB in Week 1. --Mike Marteny - RotoBaller
