Is Gunner Stockton Underrated Heading into Year 2?
Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton enjoyed a mostly successful first season as a starter, completing just under 70% of his passes for 2,894 yards, 24 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He added 462 yards and an additional 10 touchdowns as a runner, leading Georgia to an SEC Championship win and a spot in the College Football Playoff. Despite this, Stockton is not widely included in the conversation of the best signal-callers in college football. Stockton takes care of the football and delivers when Georgia needs him to more often than not. With another full offseason as the starter, Stockton could take a significant step forward after a great first year in the QB1 role. By season's end, he could be a unanimous top quarterback in the country.
