Former middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira suffered a second-round TKO loss to Ciryl Gane in the co-main event of UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday. Pereira had a chance to become the first fighter ever to win three belts in the UFC, but Gane's movement was on point; he controlled distance beautifully and landed cleaner strikes. The ending sequence came in the second round when Gane dropped Pereira with a jab. He then followed up with a barrage of punches, forcing the referee to stop the fight. In 6:27 of action, Pereira landed 12 significant strikes. With the loss, Pereira dropped to 13-4 as a pro and is now 10-3 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
