Wide Receivers - Fantasy Football Week 10
Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
Last week, the Bears exploded for 47 points, with Caleb Williams throwing three touchdown passes against the Bengals. Yet somehow, some way, Rome Odunze was stunningly and fully left out of the fireworks display. He was not targeted at all.
Many fantasy players will find such an outing to be unforgivable, and the stench of the zero may linger for a while. Any time those who roster him consider starting Odunze, they will have the Week 9 zero come back to mind, causing hesitation about starting him.
Odunze had already been trending downwards before Week 9, as he had registered less than three PPR points in two of his previous three games. This week, he gets a good matchup against the Giants, who rank 26th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to opposing wide receivers. But after Odunze didn’t produce at all last week against one of the league’s worst defenses, not even a good matchup can inspire more confidence in starting him.
You will truly have to bank on the “squeaky wheel” cliché this week when thinking about Odunze as a possible starter. What works in his favor is that when other players on an offense shine, very often their complements may be worked back into the mix in the following game.
The Bears will still be relying on Odunze for a long time to come, so I believe they will get him back into the flow of the passing game this week. I will give him another week to see if he can recapture his better form from the first four weeks of the season, Odunze averaged 14.9 Fantasy Points Per Game during that span.
Rashid Shaheed, Seattle Seahawks
Earlier this week, the Seahawks delivered the biggest fantasy football headline of the period leading up to the trade deadline when they acquired big-play threat Rashid Shaheed. The former Saints WR was just outside the top 25 in WR scoring when he was working on one of the NFL’s least potent offenses during the first half of the season.
"I think that there's going to be a real synergy between Sam Darnold and Rashid Shaheed."
On this week's Football 101, Dave Wyman details how the #Seahawks coaching staff's familiarity with Shaheed may have been a key part to the trade and why Seattle is building around Darnold.… pic.twitter.com/gbmMaGG1ym
— Seattle Sports (@SeattleSports) November 5, 2025
Now Shaheed’s fantasy appeal gets an immediate boost as he joins one of the league’s most efficient passing games, with a quarterback who is functioning as one of the best deep throwers in the league. Seattle ranks fourth in the NFL in passing yards while ranking 30th in attempts.
Sam Darnold is functioning as one of the best deep passers in the league and an ideal fit to work with Shaheed. He leads the NFL in Completed Air Yards Per Pass Attempt, per Pro Football Reference. The Seahawks QB has been sacked a league-low nine times while operating behind an improved offensive line.
Seattle is dealing with a handful of key injuries at WR heading into the Week 10 matchup vs. Arizona. ESPN reported that Shaheed may have to play a significant role in the Seahawks’ passing game in his debut with the team. Fortunately, he is comfortable working in a Klint Kubiak offense because of their past working relationship in New Orleans.
Arizona is also dealing with significant injuries in the secondary, as starting cornerbacks Will Johnson and Max Melton will be out. So you can start Shaheed as a fantasy WR3 in his first game with the Seahawks. Even if he only catches three or four balls, more than one can go for a big gainer and possibly a TD.
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
Tetairoa McMillan is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game with the Saints because of a hamstring injury. Even if McMillan is able to play, Coker could function as a viable one-week deeper streamer if you need one. He has been very quiet in his three games played this season so far, with just four receptions for 45 yards.
Coker did show glimpses of promise late last season, though, and this is a matchup where the surprising 5-4 Panthers can start to involve other pass-catchers in the offense. Over the past four weeks, New Orleans ranks 25th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to WRs.
Coker will be a top sleeper for Week 10 if McMillan is out, and he can still be worthy of consideration as a desperation lineup plugger in Week 10 if Carolina’s top WR is able to play. Working through a hamstring issue could affect McMillan’s production. Because of injuries and bye weeks, I am starting Coker in three leagues. He is healthy now, and this could be the week where he gets back on the fantasy radar, even as the Panthers lead with the running game again.
Running Backs - Fantasy Football Week 10
Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers
Vidal has already shown he is unreliable for fantasy football purposes. Those who took a chance on him in Week 8 were thrilled by his 117 rushing yards and one TD vs. Minnesota. So he seemingly earned a sure starting slot in lineups for Week 9, especially in a highly favorable matchup vs. Tennessee.
Vidal was the flop of Week 9 at RB, though, as he rushed for just 30 yards on 12 attempts. Now, as we approach Week 10 play, fantasy leaguers don’t know which version of Vidal we may see against the Steelers.
Pittsburgh has a pass-funnel defense that ranks eighth in FFPG allowed to RBs. The Chargers’ receivers will have the advantage against the Steelers’ secondary. Also, Pittsburgh’s defensive front is going to be a tough matchup for the Los Angeles offensive line in terms of creating running room for Vidal.
The passing game will be the best method of moving the ball for the Chargers this week, whenever Justin Herbert has or can create enough time to throw. Vidal should be viewed as a fantasy RB3 for this week. He may get enough volume to post a decent stat line, but there appears to be little potential for a strong fantasy outing.
Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks
Walker has certainly been a fantasy disappointment this season. He has failed to score 10 PPR points in five of eight games played in 2025. In the preseason, Walker was viewed as a fine value play as a fantasy RB2, because the Seahawks were reportedly going to lean more on their running game.
While the Seattle passing game is exceeding expectations, though, the rushing offense ranks 22nd in the NFL and fantasy players are no longer seeing Walker as a regular starting option. Beginning this week, though, we could see the ground game improve in terms of output.
The Shaheed trade will also help the running game. He is one of the most dangerous downfield playmakers in the league and will force opponents to stop loading their defensive fronts against Seattle so often. Walker ranks 17th in the NFL in Yards Before Contact, as opposing defenses are still focusing on limiting the run. Seattle ranks fifth in the NFL in run pass ratio.
Shaheed’s insertion into the offense will force defenses to focus even more on the Seahawks WRs, and with Darnold playing so well, it’s time for opponents to start considering addressing the Seattle passing game more in game plans going forward.
Another factor in Walker’s favor is the return of Robbie Ouzts. He is a fine lead blocker as a fullback. With even better blocking and more offensive balance overall, Walker still should be started as a fantasy RB2. Arizona’s injuries in the secondary also will mean that the Cardinals may gameplan more to contain the passing game this week. Give Walker another week to improve his fantasy output.
Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears
Last week, the Chicago rookie took advantage of being pressed into a lead RB role in a great matchup vs. Cincinnati. Monangai rushed for 176 yards against the Bengals, displaying good vision, patience, and some juke to elude tacklers. Before last week, he was the clear backup to D’Andre Swift, but now we might see more of a timeshare between the two Bears RBs.
Kyle Monangai Looking for Another Huge Game Against Giants https://t.co/JGqdHNQGtx
— RotoBaller NFL (@RotoBallerNFL) November 8, 2025
Swift is trending towards returning from a groin injury in NFL Week 10, but Monangai has earned more reps as a complement to Swift when both RBs are available. Ben Johnson may be looking to employ the two RBs much as Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery were in Detroit. Swift is the slasher who is capable of explosive ways, while Monangai can be the inside banger. Johnson is utilizing his running game to set up the passing attack, too.
This week, Johnson said he does believe in a guy having a “hot hand”, so it may be unpredictable from week to week who will post better fantasy totals between Swift and Monangai. The Giants have allowed the most rushing yards to RBs among NFC teams, so Monangai is a flex play or an RB2 plug-in option this week even if he has to share carries.
I foresee Monangai potentially emerging as a preferred goal-line runner, a role that can always give him a shot to post adequate totals. The Bears should be able to move the ball very well this week, too.
Quarterback and Tight End - Fantasy Football Week 10
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
The situation around Dart suggests that he should not be posting good fantasy numbers. He has lost his best WR and no longer has the support of his best RB. The Giants’ WR and RB corps have returned to mediocrity. Yet somehow, the first-year passer has overcome the adversity presented to him, and he is a good streaming option for Week 10.
In the past four weeks, Dart has finished as a top 7 fantasy QB three times. He passed for two TDs last week, and a huge factor in his output is the rushing production. Dart rushed for a TD in each of the last four games and finished with 55-plus rushing yards twice during that span.
Jaxson Dart Set for Potential High-Scoring Week 10 Outing https://t.co/a0WyeQeF9a
— RotoBaller NFL (@RotoBallerNFL) November 8, 2025
I have Dart ranked as a top 10 fantasy QB this week. The Bears rank 26th in FFPG allowed to RBs. Dart is highly determined and never gives up on a play. The promise he is showing this season can position him to be a very tempting fantasy QB1 going forward, when his supporting cast is healthier again.
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
If you are without Travis Kelce or Jake Ferguson this week, Schultz can be an acceptable plug-in option. Although I do expect a lower-scoring game between the Texans and Jaguars, and Davis Mills is starting for Houston, Schultz is still good enough to take advantage of the matchup. The Jaguars have allowed the most FFPG to TEs over the past four weeks.
