Brandon's DraftKings and FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 9/27/25 (Matchweek 6). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to "The Kick-Off," and welcome to the 2025-2026 season! The first set of fixtures for both UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League are over! Which means there is a possibility of rotation to keep an eye out for. Let's knock out Matchweek Six!

The top favorite for this week is Manchester City (-650) vs Burnley FC (+1500). I will guide you through this four-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST on Saturday, September 27.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else, don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected], via X @df_solutions, or in our Discord chat rooms.

EPL DFS Goalies

Alisson Becker - DK $5.3K || FD $11

Opponent - at Crystal Palace

There is only one goalkeeper on the slate that matches the criteria as a ‘volume’ goalie or a ‘safe’ goalie, and it is Martin Dúbravka. Everyone who knows who Manchester City is will immediately avoid the opposing goalie in any matchup. That would be the case here; however, Dúbravka is still mentioned at the very least. The featured goalie, Alisson Becker, has the optimal matchup and is the ‘next best’ in terms of value.

Crystal Palace is struggling offensively with Ismaïla Sarr injured–now considered questionable–and new acquisition Yéremy Pino (DK $4.5K || FD $13) still adjusting to the English Premier League. The Eagles are in the top ten in Shots and Chances Created Per 90, but the bottom ten in Goals Per 90 so far this season. A road fixture is never easy. Although, as the second-largest favorite on the slate and with two clean sheets in the last three domestic matches, Becker has the potential to blank another club.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Djordje Petrovic (DK $4.8K || FD $10) at Leeds United
  • Martin Dúbravka (DK $3.6K || FD $7) at Manchester City

EPL DFS Forwards

Erling Haaland - DK $10.6K || FD $24

Opponent - vs. Burnley FC

Erling Haaland is the most significant question mark heading into Saturday. He has not participated much with the club since the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday. He also did not travel for the midweek English Football League Cup win against Huddersfield Town AFC. Bench boss Pep Guardiola is optimistic that the young striker will be back for this match, but he remains cautious. Nevertheless, IF Haaland does start, he would be considered a ‘LOCK’ at the forward position.

In his last five fixtures across all competitions, Haaland has scored five goals, taken 19 shots, created two chances, and made nine clearances. To put it lightly, Burnley FC is already a strong candidate for relegation. From a Per 90 against viewpoint, they are the worst club in Shots, Chances Created, and In-the-Box Shots. They are also in the bottom ten in Goals, Big Chances Created, In-the-Box Goals, and Penalty Area Defense—Haaland projects to have the highest ceiling out of all players on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Joao Pedro (DK $8.4K || FD $21) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Alexander Isak (DK $7.2K || FD $20) at Crystal Palace

EPL DFS Midfielders

Daichi Kamada - DK $4.2K || FD $16

Opponent - vs. Liverpool FC

Paying up at the goalkeeper position and paying for the highest-salaried forward forces a cut somewhere else in the lineup. All the roads lead to Daichi Kamada. The versatile midfielder was given the keys in the 2-1 win at London Stadium last weekend. He produced one shot, three chances created, eight crosses, six corners, four tackles, one interception, and two clearances. In his three fixtures this season, he has three shots, four chances created, nine crosses, six corners, eight tackles, two interceptions, and three clearances.

Unless teammate and midfielder Ismaila Sarr returns from injury this weekend, Kamada is expected to have a similar role against Liverpool FC. Kamada took over set pieces for the Eagles, providing him with an instant floor. He also produced in other facets of the match. Liverpool FC is not an easy matchup. However, as long as Kamada maintains his new role with Crystal Palace, he is expected to reach value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • David Brooks (DK $7K || FD $14) at Leeds United
  • Anton Stach (DK $6.2K || FD $19) vs. AFC Bournemouth

EPL DFS Defenders

Defenders

Quilindschy Hartman - DK $3K || FD $12

Opponent - at Manchester City FC

Another area to reduce spending to afford the top half of the salaries is in defense. Quilindschy Hartman remains on set pieces for the Clarets, despite teammate and winger, Jaidon Anthony (DK $6K || FD $17) starting to poach some of them. In Hartman’s most recent five domestic fixtures, he has two shots, five chances created, 27 crosses, nine corners, 12 tackles, 10 interceptions, 21 clearances, and two blocks.

If anyone doubted his defensive capabilities, those doubts should be long gone at this point. Hartman continues to prove that he is a versatile fullback who can excel at both ends of the pitch. Considering his fixture is against Premier League giants Manchester City, Hartman is expected to reach value based on defensive metrics alone.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Reece James (DK $6K || FD $12) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • James Hill (DK $2.8K || FD $9) at Leeds United

Corner Takers

  • Chelsea FC: Reece James/Enzo Fernandez
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Yasin Ayari/James Milner
  • Crystal Palace FC: Daichi Kamada/Adam Wharton
  • Liverpool FC: Dominik Szoboszlai
  • Leeds United: Anton Stach/Gabriel Gudmundsson
  • AFC Bournemouth: David Brooks/Alex Scott
  • Manchester City FC: Phil Foden/Tijjani Reijnders
  • Burnley FC: Quilindschy Hartman/Jaidon Anthony
