Seattle Seahawks backup running back Thomas Rawls rushed 23 times for 169 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Rawls topped the 100-yard mark for the second time this season, filling in for the injured Marshawn Lynch.
Rawls looked solid in his second career start, providing the Seahawks with a much-needed spark at times. While the struggles continue for Russell Wilson and the Seahawks receiving corp, Rawls has been the lone bright spot of late.
While Rawls has been impressive thus far, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll showed promise when asked about Marshawn Lynch's return.

"He got a little bit of work on Thursday at practice and got a chance to run around a little bit. He’s really close, but it’s a hamstring that’s been strained, so it takes a couple weeks for that to really be gone. So the question is whether or not he’d be durable enough to play in a game and maintain and that’s what the trainers will figure out by game-time, or before we take off.”
Thomas Rawls has showed he's capable of being a starting running back, but his upside in fantasy football is limited with the return of Marshawn Lynch. If you own Rawls, keep him on your roster until Lynch has proven that he's healthy enough to carry a full workload.
