Brandon's DraftKings and FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 4/19/26 (Matchweek 33). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.
Welcome back to "The Kick-Off," and welcome to the 2025-26 season! Fixture congestion is in full force once again after having European play midweek. This could result in potential rotation given the lack of rest between the midweek fixtures and this weekend's fixtures. The final push to the title is on! Let's kick off Matchweek 33!!
The top favorite for this week is Nottingham Forest (-220) vs. Burnley FC (+600). I will guide you through this three-match slate starting at 9:00 a.m. ET on Sunday, April 19.

EPL DFS Goalies
Robin Roefs - DK $3.8K || FD $8
Opponent - at Aston Villa FC
This could be the optimal goalkeeper play of the season. Aston Villa is hosting on little rest after their 4-0 blowout victory over FC Bologna of Serie A in the UEFA Europa League at midweek. In their last five domestic matches, the hosts are struggling to score but continue to generate high shot volume. At the other end of the pitch, Sunderland, in their last five domestic matches, are allowing high shot volume but conceding very few goals.
Robin Roefs can attest to that after his 1-0 shutout victory versus Tottenham last weekend in his return from injury. At minimum salary, Roefs has the potential to blow past his floor and ceiling.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Matz Sels (DK $6K || FD $13) vs. Burnley FC
- Jordan Pickford (DK $4.3K || FD $10) vs. Liverpool FC
EPL DFS Forwards
Omari Hutchinson - DK $6.2K || FD $13
Opponent - vs. Burnley FC
As long as teammate and midfielder Elliot Anderson does not start as planned, Omari Hutchinson will be more heavily involved in Nottingham Forest’s attack. The playmaker now has five shots, three chances created, ten crosses, two corners, two tackles, and two interceptions in his last five appearances–four starts–in all competitions.
Not only has Burnley conceded the most Goals Against–11–in their last five away fixtures–more than any other team, excluding splits–. They are also the worst club in every meaningful metric in their last five domestic fixtures, excluding splits. Burnley was the first club to be relegated for next season, thanks to their porous defense. That is expected to continue in this away fixture at City Ground this weekend. Considering Hutchinson’s optimal matchup against Burnley and his elevated role on set pieces, he could make a run at the top value play of the slate.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Mohamed Salah (DK $9.8K || FD $20) at Everton FC
- Igor Jesus (DK $4.7K || FD $16) vs. Burnley FC

EPL DFS Midfielders
Dominik Szoboszlai - DK $8.6K || FD $21
Opponent - at Everton FC
Dominik Szoboszlai’s role on set pieces is starting to dwindle. Teammates like Mohamed Salah are starting to get a share, which is limiting Szoboszlai’s ceiling but not his floor. The versatile midfielder is now being used in many different aspects of the game. He is generating more interceptions and tackles to offset his fewer crosses and corners. Over his last five starts in all competitions, he has generated six shots, ten chances created, 23 crosses, 14 corners, nine tackles, nine interceptions, and 13 clearances.
In Everton’s last five domestic matches, excluding splits, they are in the bottom five in both Shots Against Per 90 and Chances Created Against Per 90. Two metrics that suit a midfielder like Szoboszlai. It is not a question of if he will produce, but how much.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- James Garner (DK $8.1K || FD $20) vs. Liverpool FC
- Granit Xhaka (DK $4.9K || FD $17) at Aston Villa FC
EPL DFS Defenders
Neco Williams - DK $5.6K || FD $16
Opponent - vs. Burnley FC
Neco Williams is also in the running for value play of the slate. The fullback will be the primary set piece taker with teammate Elliot Anderson out, as aforementioned. In the 1-0 win versus FC Porto in the UEFA Europa League this midweek, Williams produced one assist, three shots, four chances created, seven crosses, six corners, four tackles, two interceptions, and two clearances. There is no doubt that he will produce in this favorable matchup at home.
As mentioned earlier, Burnley FC’s defense is tragic at best, and Nottingham Forest is projected to have possession for the majority of the match. At only $5.6K on DraftKings, it is expected that Williams surpasses his floor and ceiling.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Jeremie Frimpong (DK $5.3K || FD $8) at Everton FC
- Trai Hume (DK $4.6K || FD $10) at Aston Villa FC

- Sunderland AFC: Enzo Le Fée/Granit Xhaka
- Everton FC: James Garner/Kiernan-Dewsbury Hall

- Nottingham Forest: Neco Williams/Omari Hutchinson
- Burnley FC: James Ward-Prowse
