EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (11/2/24) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 10

Brandon's DraftKings EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 11/2/24 (Matchweek 10). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off” and welcome to the 2024-25 season! Another round of European play next week could force rotation for some clubs. This slate offers value across the board and features the Premier League’s two big clubs, Manchester City and Liverpool. Let’s kick off Matchweek Ten!

The top favorite for this weekend is Liverpool -260 vs Brighton & Hove Albion +600. I will guide you through this five-match slate starting at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else, don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected], via X @df_solutions, or in our Discord chat rooms.

EPL DFS Goalies

Lukasz Fabianski - DK $4.2K || FD $8

Opponent - Nottingham Forest

There is a chance that teammate and fellow goalie Alphonse Areola will start instead this weekend. However, Lukasz Fabianski made a strong case after winning 2-1 at home against Manchester United at the weekend. In the win, the goalie made four saves and conceded once. He has made two domestic starts this season, recording a 1-1 record with six saves and two goals against.

Nottingham Forest has scored just three goals in four home domestic matches this season and they rank as the second-worst club in Goals For Per 90. Despite their scoring struggles, they are a top-ten club in Shots For Per 90 and could offer Fabianski a solid saves floor.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Pickford (DK $4.7K || FD $10), Hermansen (DK $4.4K || FD $8)

EPL DFS Forwards

Anthony Elanga - DK $6.3K || FD $13

Opponent - West Ham United

After a stretch of limited time on the pitch, Anthony Elanga played 70 or more minutes for the first time in seven matches in the 3-1 win at King Power Stadium this past weekend. In his most recent five domestic appearances–three starts–he has two shots, two created chances, 21 crosses, 10 corners, one interception, and two clearances.

Many will be on Dwight McNeil–mentioned below–or Erling Haaland, mentioned in ‘Others To Consider’. However, Anthony Elanga has the potential to offer a similar floor and ceiling to McNeil. West Ham United is in the bottom three in Crosses Against Per 90 and is a bottom-five club in all other meaningful metrics against Per 90. As a primary set piece taker for the Garibaldis, Elanga is expected to produce double-digit fantasy points.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Haaland (DK $10.6K || FD $24), Vardy (DK $5.7K || FD $17)

EPL DFS Midfielders

Dwight McNeil - DK $8.2K || FD $19

Opponent - Southampton

Dwight McNeil is projected to play. However, caution is needed. The winger was removed from the 1-1 draw with Fulham with knee concerns that have since been deemed minor. Over his most recent five domestic fixtures, he has two goals, one assist, 12 shots, eight created chances, 26 crosses, 12 corners, three tackles, and two interceptions.

Southampton is a bottom-three club in all meaningful metrics against Per 90 and the worst in Created Chances Against Per 90. If McNeil is to start, his role, potential, and matchup could make him a ‘lock’. Considering his salary has been north of $9K on DraftKings for a few matchweeks, getting him at a ‘discount’ makes him an optimal consideration.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Foden (DK $9.6K || FD $21), Buonanotte (DK $9.2K || FD $20)

EPL DFS Defenders

Leif Davis - DK $5.8K || FD $15

Opponent - Leicester City

Leif Davis makes back-to-back articles after a worthwhile performance at the weekend. The fullback produced one assist, three shots, two created chances, six crosses, three corners, one tackle, two interceptions, and two clearances. In his last five domestic appearances, he has one assist, five shots, 18 created chances, 39 crosses, 27 corners, four tackles, eight interceptions, and seven clearances.

 In Per 90 metrics, Leicester City is a bottom-two club in Shots Against, Chances Created Against, Big Chances Created Against, and In-the-Box Shots Against. Considering Davis has had a salary drop, is playing in a prime matchup at home, and is the leading set piece taker for the Tractor Boys, Davis has the potential to become one of the highest-owned non-Manchester City players on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Alexander-Arnold (DK $6.1K || FD $15), Emerson (DK $3.8K || FD $12)

Corner Takers

  • AFC Bournemouth: Tavernier/Cook
  • Manchester City: Foden/Gündogan
  • Ipswich Town FC: Davis/Phillips
  • Leicester City: Buonanotte
  • Liverpool: Alexander-Arnold/Robertson
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Ayari/Hinshelwood/Estupiñán
  • Nottingham Forest: Elanga/Anderson
  • West Ham United: Bowen
  • Southampton: Sugawara/Dibling
  • Everton: McNeil

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
