RotoBaller's top 100 fantasy football rookie rankings for 2026 NFL rookies. These updated staff rankings are from after the NFL Draft and include RB, WR, TE, QB.
At last, the 2026 NFL Draft has come and gone, and we now know draft capital and landing spots for the next group of fantasy football rookies. This isn't the most exciting and deep class of fantasy-relevant players, but there are game-changers at the top of the draft, and there will be plenty of surprises among players selected in the later rounds. It's time for RotoBaller's first post-NFL Draft fantasy football rookie rankings for 2026.
These updated 2026 rookie rankings are put together by Matt Donnelly, Phil Clark, Jackson Sparks, and Andrew Lalama. These rankings will be updated throughout the offseason, up until the start of the 2026 NFL regular season, based on training camp intel, preseason performances, and more. Below, check out where Jeremiyah Love, Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, Ty Simpson, Jadarian Price, and more stand, among all others.

2026 Fantasy Football Rookie Outlooks
Fernando Mendoza, QB, Raiders
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on Thursday that Las Vegas Raiders veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins is expected to mentor first overall pick Fernando Mendoza this year, and Cousins is expected to be the team's starter under center to kick off the regular season in early September. Rapoport also says that the Raiders hope Cousins can run the offense all year while Mendoza learns on the sidelines. In a perfect scenario, Mendoza would be ready to roll as the full-time starter in 2027.
Given Cousins' declining play and elevated injury risk at 37 years old, it would be a surprise if he were the Raiders' starter in 2026 from wire to wire. The 22-year-old Mendoza should be the No. 2 pick in rookie-only dynasty/keeper leagues this year, behind only Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love.
The Indiana product doesn't have a ton of dual-threat upside at the next level, but his accuracy in the pocket should give him a safe long-term fantasy floor while paired with offensive-minded head coach Klint Kubiak. In redraft leagues, Mendoza won't be as attractive in 2026, but he'll still have appeal as a QB2 with upside in superflex setups if Cousins falters or gets hurt.
Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Jets
New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq has the potential to handle a large role right away. The Jets selected Sadiq with one of their three first-round picks on Thursday night, making him the first and only tight end off the board on Day 1. The Jets weren't heavily mocked to take a tight end, given that they already had 2025 second-round pick Mason Taylor on the roster. However, the selection of Sadiq showcases New York's desire to build out a young core on offense, presumably in preparation for drafting and installing a rookie quarterback next year.
The Jets will pair Sadiq with Taylor, star wide receiver Garrett Wilson, and first-round receiver Omar Cooper Jr. in an offense led by quarterback Geno Smith this year. There are a lot of mouths to feed, and Smith isn't the most reliable passer, but Sadiq's talent alone will make him an intriguing fantasy option. After all, he had 51 catches, 560 yards, and eight touchdowns just last year at Oregon. He immediately ranks as the overall TE9 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings.
Jonah Coleman, RB, Broncos
The Denver Broncos selected Washington running back Jonah Coleman with their first of two fourth-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, and The Athletic's Nick Kosmider believes he will have an immediate role as the Broncos' short-yardage back. Coleman joins a running back room of J.K. Dobbins and 2025 second-round pick RJ Harvey, who combined to see 12 carries from inside the five-yard line in 2025. Harvey was personally able to convert four of his seven goal-line carries into scores, so he could still have some say in just how quickly Coleman claims the role, but regardless of how the division of labor shakes out in Denver, it could result in frustration for fantasy managers.
Coleman is a well-rounded runner who can be trusted on passing downs as either a receiver or blocker, so there is a fair amount of overlap between the skillsets of all three backs. Based on draft capital and last year's usage, Dobbins is still likely to see the largest workload, at least to start the season, but Coleman is RotoBaller's dynasty RB29 and could see that ranking rise if he's truly able to carve out a meaningful role near the end zone.
KC Concepcion, WR, Browns
Cleveland Browns wide receiver KC Concepcion has been on the team for less than 48 hours, and he's already facing competition on the depth chart. The Browns selected Concepcion, a Texas A&M product, with the 24th overall pick, suggesting that he had a strong chance to open the year as the team's No. 1 receiver over Jerry Jeudy. That remains true, but his projected target share was scaled back a little after the Browns also drafted Washington's Denzel Boston.
The 39th overall pick, Boston's draft capital is also significant enough that he should see a meaningful snap and target share early in the season. In fact, entering the draft, Boston (#34) ranked three spots higher than Concepcion (#37) in RotoBaller's dynasty fantasy football rankings. There's a realistic scenario in which both Concepcion and Boston flourish, especially with how poorly Jeudy has played in past years. Still, any chance of the former Aggie being a standalone alpha in this receiver room has likely faded away.
Eli Stowers, TE, Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Vanderbilt tight end prospect Eli Stowers with the 54th overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft. Stowers is just the second tight end selected so far this year, as well as the first to hear his name called on Day 2. There had been rumblings of the Vandy product being a first-round pick, but he ended up going near the middle of the second. The 23-year-old caught 111 passes for 1,407 yards and nine touchdowns over his final two seasons at school.
He'll offer the Eagles a long-term solution at the tight end position with Dallas Goedert slated to hit free agency (and widely expected to sign elsewhere) next offseason. Stowers might not have much redraft appeal as long as Goedert is healthy and on the team, but he could jump onto the weekly fantasy radar in 2027. Plus, he's an appealing dynasty option in this successful Eagles offense, ranking as the overall TE15 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings.
Chris Brazzell II, WR, Panthers
The Carolina Panthers have selected University of Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II with the 83rd overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-4 pass catcher opened his collegiate career at Tulane before transferring to Tennessee. In 12 games last season, he caught 62 passes for 1,017 yards and an SEC-leading nine touchdowns. Brazzell was a vertical receiver who stretched the field at school, but he's capable of flashing versatility and occupying a variety of roles.
That will fit nicely in a Carolina receiver room that already features Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, and Xavier Legette. Brazzell might not have fantasy relevance as soon as Week 1 in his rookie season, but there's plenty of long-term upside here. He ranks as the WR68 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings.
