Ion Cutelaba Suffers Second-Round TKO Loss
Ion Cutelaba suffered a second-round TKO loss to undefeated Navajo Stirling in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 119 on Saturday. Cutelaba had some success with his takedowns, but he was having trouble on the feet against Stirling. After taking Stirling down in the second round, Cutelaba remained on the mat against the cage while Stirling managed to get up. Stirling then started raining down blows, forcing the referee to stop the fight. In 8:23 of action, Cutelaba landed five takedowns and 19 significant strikes. With the loss, Cutelaba dropped to 20-12-1 as a pro and is now 9-11-1 in the UFC.
