Justin Gaethje became the new lightweight champion by defeating previously undefeated Ilia Topuria in the main event of UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday. Throughout the bout, both fighters had success, but it was Gaethje who did more damage. After the fourth round ended and Topuria went to his corner, one of his coaches decided to stop the fight to prevent him from any further harm. In 20 minutes of action, Gaethje landed 91 significant strikes. With the win, Gaethje got two championship belts, including a custom UFC Freedom 250 championship, and the Unified Lightweight Championship.--Alen Kurbasic
