We are entering the playoff push, as fantasy managers look to rally their teams to a playoff berth and potentially a championship. At this point in the season, we know the studs and the duds, but do we really?
Superstar players like Lamar Jackson and Saquon Barkley haven’t performed to their peak this season; however, now is the time for a change. Who knows, maybe players who have been MVP candidates could fall off down the stretch.
This is the part of the season that will win or lose leagues, and if your team isn’t playing its best heading into December, good luck winning a championship. So here are three buy-lows and three sell-highs to consider in Week 12, and one is a shocker…

Buy-Low Trade Targets for Fantasy Football
QB: Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Jackson had his worst game of the season in Week 11, totaling 193 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. His 6.7 fantasy points against the Cleveland Browns ended up being his lowest fantasy output of his eight-year career (excluding games he left early).
Coming off his lackluster performance gives fantasy managers the perfect opportunity to buy low on the two-time MVP.

His last two games were against top-10 defenses against quarterbacks, and in both games, Jackson failed to reach 20 fantasy points. The next time Jackson will face a top-10 defense is in Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers.
Jackson’s next four games are against bottom-10 defenses against quarterbacks this season, and two of which are against the Cincinnati Bengals. There are also no concerns about Jackson resting for the playoffs, as the Ravens will be fighting until the last week to make the postseason.
Jackson has fought through injuries and poor offensive line play this season, but anytime a superstar player is a buy-low candidate, they usually rebound.
RB: Saquon Barkley - Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles running back Barkley has taken a major step back in 2025, which most expected after his massive 2,000-yard season in 2024. Through 10 weeks, he’s on pace for just 1,128 rushing yards and 6.8 touchdowns.
The collapse of the Eagles’ offense has been the main factor, which has lowered his efficiency and weekly consistency. However, there are strong signs that a turnaround is on the way.
Before Week 10, Barkley averaged only 15.9 carries per game, which is nearly six fewer than last season. Since the Eagles’ Week 9 bye, that usage has completely flipped. Barkley has logged 26 and 22 carries in his last two outings, which is a sign that a return to the workload he saw during his dominant 2024 campaign.

Over his final seven games, Barkley has four bottom-5 defenses against running backs and doesn’t face a single top-15 run defense. His Week 12 matchup vs. the Dallas Cowboys is the most favorable of the entire stretch and gives fantasy managers a chance to dominate in Week 12.
Fantasy managers who spent a first-round pick on Barkley have been frustrated, and most are falling out of playoff contention because of it. That makes Barkley the perfect trade target. His workload is back, his schedule is ideal, and the improving usage signals a strong late-season surge is coming.
WR: Ja'Marr Chase - Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is suspended for Week 12 after a spitting incident with Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey. Even when playing, Chase has struggled based on his standards.
Over the past three weeks, Chase has caught 21 of 37 targets for 232 yards and no touchdowns, pacing as the WR19 since Week 8. Like the superstars listed above, look for Chase to bounce back down the stretch.
While it’s been a fun ride with veteran Joe Flacco, starting quarterback Joe Burrow is set to return soon, which unlocks Chase’s explosive playmaking that he didn’t have with Flacco.
In case fantasy managers are forgetting, Chase averaged 29.2 PPR fantasy points per game from Week 10 on last season. He had 991 yards and 11 touchdowns in the final nine games, which is a historical pace.
Once he returns from suspension in Week 13, he will have two matchups against the Baltimore Ravens in the next three weeks. Chase has tormented the Ravens in his career, averaging 120.3 receiving yards per game and adding eight touchdowns in eight games.

Whether fantasy managers are frustrated with Chase’s latest performance or his suspension taking him out of an important game for fantasy purposes, adding a superstar receiver like Chase for relatively cheap is a league-winning move.
Sell Candidates for Fantasy Football Trades
QB: Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott ended his two-game slump in explosive fashion in Week 11, racking up 268 yards and four touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, there are some reasons why Prescott’s 2025 fantasy value could dip to finish the season.

After missing the majority of the 2024 season with a hamstring injury, Prescott has not contributed on the ground. He is averaging 11.7 rushing yards per game, which ranks 26th in the NFL, and without much rushing production to boost his floor, Prescott will continue to be inconsistent.
The Cowboys' schedule is brutal for the rest of the season, as Prescott faces top-10 scoring defenses in his last six games, including in Week 12 when they host the Eagles in Week 12.
In Prescott’s first game against the Eagles in Week 1, he was held to under double-digit fantasy points. Since their bye week, this Eagles defense has awakened, holding Jordan Love and Jared Goff to under 12 fantasy points in those games.
Prescott will continue to supply star receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, but in terms of his fantasy value, he is no more than a QB2. With his tough schedule and lack of rushing, Prescott will fail to deliver QB1 value like other quarterbacks could.
RB: Jonathan Taylor - Indianapolis Colts
This is the shocker on this list, but Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is a player who could demand a monster haul in a trade. Taylor is in the midst of a record-breaking season, as he’s averaging 139.9 scrimmage yards per game and 17 touchdowns in 10 games.
After being a bust in his previous three seasons, Taylor has bounced back in a big way in 2025, thanks in part to Daniel Jones’ stellar play. However, in recent weeks, Jones has struggled, totaling more turnovers than touchdowns over the past two weeks. If Jones falls apart down the stretch, especially with their difficult schedule, Taylor would be affected in a big way.

There’s also been injury concerns in the past few seasons surrounding Taylor, including a good amount of ankle injuries. With Taylor getting a huge workload, injuries could happen and end fantasy seasons on the spot.
Taylor has a very difficult upcoming schedule, including games against the Chiefs, Seahawks, Texans, and Jaguars (twice), all of which rank inside the top 10 in fantasy points allowed to running backs this season. The Chiefs are hosting the Colts this week, and they’ve been fantastic against running backs this season.
Now, if you want to ride or die with your best player, that’s fine. However, if you have a team that isn’t performing at the other positions, selling high on Taylor could be the move. If you feel comfortable with your other position groups, I would not advise selling the MVP candidate.
Taylor’s price consists of at least two (maybe three) star players, and with his tough schedule and injury concerns, he may be a player who could cost managers championships later in the season.
WR: Drake London - Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London was in the middle of a huge season before suffering a knee injury in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers. While early reports state he may only miss a week, fantasy managers should prepare for a much longer absence and a complicated rest-of-season outlook.

This year has already given us multiple examples of how tricky PCL sprains truly are. Brock Bowers and Ricky Pearsall were both labeled “short-term” injuries, yet each ended up missing four weeks.
Puka Nacua and Christian McCaffrey dealt with the same injury in 2024 and missed five games. PCL sprains are notoriously difficult to recover from, and setbacks are common.
Given that track record, it’s very possible London misses more than the one week currently projected, and in the worst-case scenario, he may not return at all in 2025 if the Falcons fall out of contention and decide not to risk a reinjury.
Even if London does come back, his situation will be less favorable. Michael Penix Jr. is out for the season, leaving the offense in the hands of Kirk Cousins, who has struggled in Atlanta. In Cousins’ last five starts, he’s averaged just 209 passing yards, with one touchdown and nine interceptions.
Between the injury uncertainty and the downgrade at quarterback, London’s fantasy ceiling has collapsed. You won’t get what you could’ve had a few weeks ago, but moving him now is still far better than holding onto a player who may provide little to no value down the stretch.
