5 Auction League Draft Targets for Fantasy Football: Sleepers for $10 or Less (2025)

Drake Maye - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Dave's top-5 under $10 auction fantasy football Sleeper value picks for 2025. His undervalued draft targets for auction leagues, including Drake Maye and more.

The NFL preseason is in the books. The next time we see NFL action, it will be when the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys square off on Thursday, September 4th, to begin Week 1. With the start of the season almost here, fantasy football drafts are in full swing. While most gamers join traditional snake redraft leagues, many fantasy players prefer auction (also known as salary cap) fantasy football leagues. The drafting format is much different, but the general concepts remain the same. The best players are the most expensive and typically go early in the auction, while sleepers and undervalued players go later and don't cost as much.

Today, we will examine several players projected to go under $10 in standard auction leagues. The players listed below are based on RotoBaller’s Auction Value Tool. This feature is available for Premium subscribers, and the results below are based on a standard $200 budget. Also, please note, every auction is unique. While the players below are projected to cost less than $10, it might not be the case in your league. Ultimately, it comes down to your other league mates and how bullish/bearish they are on each player.

Make sure you’re following RotoBaller on X and check out RotoBaller.com for all your fantasy football needs. Here are five players projected to cost under $10 to target in your 2025 auction fantasy football drafts.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Travis Hunter - WR/DB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Estimated RotoBaller Auction Value: $8

Jacksonville made a big move in the NFL Draft to acquire Hunter. The Jaguars traded their 2025 first round pick (fifth overall), their 2025 second round pick (36th overall), a 2025 fourth round pick (126th overall), and a 2026 first round pick in exchange for Hunter, a 2025 fourth round pick (104th overall), and a 2025 sixth round pick (200th overall).

Hunter was a two-way star in college and was a premier wide receiver and defensive back. Jacksonville has plans to use him on both sides of the ball, and that has left gamers feeling lukewarm on drafting him. However, Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen has stated that he estimates Hunter will play around 80% of snaps on the offensive side of the ball.

That would mean great things for Hunter as he was arguably the top wide receiver prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. If he is used in a similar role to the one that Chris Godwin had last year under Coen in Tampa Bay, then he could be one of the best values available in drafts this year.

Since Hunter will also play on the defensive side of the ball, there is some additional injury risk here. However, his upside as a receiver outweighs any potential injury concerns. He’s a great target as a WR3 or flex play.

Jordan Love - QB, Green Bay Packers

Estimated RotoBaller Auction Value: $7

After a fantastic first year as a starter in 2023, Love struggled with injuries and inconsistent play in 2024. Green Bay also shifted to more of a run-based offense, and that hurt Love’s fantasy production as well.

Love’s 2024 traditional stats feel a bit disappointing. If we dig a little deeper, though, we’ll find Love was actually quite good last year.

Love also posted an above-average touchdown rate in 2024. This is the second consecutive year he has done so, and it suggests he may be capable of a huge outlier touchdown season at some point in his career.

It’s also reasonable to expect the Packers to throw the ball more in 2025. There’s a possibility that Green Bay was so run-heavy last year because they had to accommodate a clearly hobbled Love. Remember, Love injured his knee in the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also suffered a hamstring injury later in the season and played through it. Protecting him by leaning on Josh Jacobs was a good pivot, but it might not be Green Bay’s preferred approach this year.

The Packers have openly discussed giving tight end Tucker Kraft a larger role, and rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden has been a standout star this summer. This could also lead to an increase in passing production, and we might see Green Bay return more towards its offense approach from 2023.

There’s a lot to like about Love’s 2025 outlook. He’s a great quarterback to select toward the end of your auction. Depending on how your draft goes, there's a good possibility he could be cheaper than his estimated $7 price tag.

Drake Maye - QB, New England Patriots

Estimated RotoBaller Auction Value: $7

Maye is another great option if you want to save some money by targeting cheap quarterbacks. New England has done a lot this offseason to try and improve Maye’s supporting cast.

The team signed wide receiver Stefon Diggs in free agency. New England also drafted rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson in Round 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft. He has explosive play-making ability and is a fantastic receiver out of the backfield, too.

The Patriots also have underrated rookie receiver Kyle Williams in the mix. He is a solid route runner who could eventually become the team’s top target. Third-year receiver DeMario Douglas has also drawn rave reviews from camp this summer, and he already has an established rapport with Maye.

New England’s offseason additions will certainly raise Maye’s floor as a passer. The main appeal in drafting Maye this year, though, is his ability as a rusher. He ran for 421 rushing yards in 13 games last year. Suppose we project that over a full 17-game season, Maye would have finished with roughly 550 rushing yards. That would have ranked fifth among all quarterbacks in 2024 and puts Maye firmly in QB1 territory.

Rome Odunze - WR, Chicago Bears

Estimated RotoBaller Auction Value: $7

After a disappointing rookie year that saw Odunze fail to eclipse 60 receptions or 800 receiving yards, the sophomore wide receiver could be set for a massive Year 2 leap.

Odunze’s rookie year was eerily similar to that of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s. He was buried behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on Seattle’s depth chart and was stuck with an uncreative player-caller in Shane Waldron. As a result, Smith-Njigba had a poor rookie year. This led to many gamers fading Smith-Njigba because they incorrectly labeled him a bust. Fast forward to 2024, though, and Smith-Njigba’s talent was too great to ignore, and he eventually became the top receiver in Seattle’s offense.

Odunze was stuck behind veterans D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen last year and also had Waldron as his play caller. The parallels between these two players' rookie seasons are wild.

Now, the main difference for Odunze is that Chicago added rookies Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III in the NFL Draft. This does create some uncertainty as far as the pecking order and target distribution. However, Odunze has been standing out this summer and has drawn rave reviews from Chicago’s coaching staff.

We don’t know for certain how this offense will play out this year. The one thing we do know: with Ben Johnson calling the shots, this offense will be much better than the 2024 Waldron-led attack. That means gamers should want to take some shots on this passing game. Odunze is a great player to target for this reason.

Emeka Egbuka - WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Estimated RotoBaller Auction Value: $6

Jalen McMillan’s neck injury has changed the landscape in the Buccaneers’ receiver room, so Egbuka may no longer be available for a discount. However, there are plenty of leagues where star players go for 25-35% of managers' auction budgets, and this leads to some incredible values later in those drafts.

If that’s the case in your auction, be ready to pounce on Egbuka.

Egbuka has been one of the stars of the summer, and we’ve heard nothing but glowing reports about him from Tampa Bay. With McMillan and Godwin starting the season hurt, Egbuka is set for a major role in this offense right out of the gates.

Mike Evans is the only other receiver of note who will immediately pose a threat for targets. While he’s had a historic start to his career, Evans is now 32 years old, and we often see wide receiver production steeply decline at this age. If that’s the case, or Evans' long documented history of soft tissue injuries causes him to miss extended time, then there’s a world where Egbuka is operating as Tampa Bay’s lead receiver.

This all makes Egbuka a great target in auction drafts.
