XFL Prop Picks for Week 1

Ben DiNucci more than 1.5 passing touchdowns

DiNucci is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the XFL after his stint with the Dallas Cowboys and is considered by many to be a strong candidate for the XFL MVP when all is said and done.

He will be the quarterback of a rather potent offense that features former NFL wide receiver, Josh Gordon as his top target. Although the total is just 36 in this game, Seattle should be able to move the ball in this one and we should look for DiNucci to get off to a solid start.

Josh Gordon more than 55.5 receiving yards

Gordon was once an elite NFL talent, but has since struggled to find solid ground in the NFL. That being said, he was still a part of an NFL roster through the 2022 season and was on an NFL field as recently as 2021 with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He will likely be a favorite target of Ben DiNucci in the early going and this offense should be more of a pass-heavy style, which could lead to him having a solid debut in the XFL.

Abram Smith more than 49.5 rushing yards

Smith is expected to be a workhorse for the D.C. Defenders, and he better be considering he was the number one overall pick in the XFL Draft this season. He is also the number one ranked running back according to Rotoballer projections.

This offense will be run-heavy with a lot of RPO as D'Eriq King will lead the way at quarterback, so we should certainly see both of these two with a solid amount of carries all season. At Baylor, Smith finished his senior season in 2021 with over 1,600 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
