Week 7 Kicker (K) Streamers and Starts: 2015 Fantasy Tiers & Rankings

It's Week 7 RotoBallers and we're obsessing over place kickers again! Yes, that’s right – kickers. After all, points are points, and even though kickers are very difficult to predict for fantasy points week to week, having the right one in your Week 7 lineup could be a difference maker.

We're here to give you that life changing analysis you so dearly covet, and help make your kicker start/sit and streaming decisions for Week 7. Who doesn't need a little help making those dreaded lineup decisions a bit easier, especially in the fantasy leg department?

This week we are going to narrow down our teirs to the Top 14 kickers broken down into three tiers. Some of these kickers may have good Week 7 matchups, and be available on your league’s waiver wire, so don't sleep on your chance to cash in a few extra points via the leg.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Week 7 Kickers To Start & Stream: Tiers & Rankings

Tier 1 NFL Kickers: Seattle Seahawks (Steven Hauschka), New England Patriots (Stephen Gostkowski), Baltimore Ravens (Justin Tucker), New York Giants (Josh Brown)

The Big Leg On Campus (Brandon McManus) has Week 7 off, so leading the way in the fantasy leg department will be old reliable Steven Hauschka. The Seahawks living legend is right behind Big Mac with 62 fantasy points scored including being tied with him for banging in four 50+ yarders thus far in 2015.

New England great Stephen Gostkowski is always a tier one option due to the Patriots high powered offense, and his high scoring total thus far is good for third most among fantasy legs. He's a must start in Week 7 as usual as the Patriots host the Jets.

Justin "Time" Tucker is a tier one sleeper in our eye because he's a highly rated kicker by PFF and also a very high scorer; coming into Week 7 as the fifth leading fantasy kicker. Use him confidently as he heads to the desert to take his kicks indoors at the Cardinals home stadium.

Josh Brown has been more reliable for fantasy owners than most people realize and he gets our tier one vote of confidence again in Week 7 as the Giants host the Cowboys struggling offense. We expect a solid output as Dallas is allowing an average of 10.80 points per week on average to opposing legs.

Tier 2 NFL Kickers: Dallas Cowboys (Dan Bailey), Atlanta Falcons (Matt Bryant), Arizona Cardinals (Chandler Catanzaro), Kansas City Chiefs (Cairo Santos), San Diego Chargers (Josh Lambo)

Speaking of the Cowboys, Dan "The Most Accurate Man" Bailey travels to dirty Jersey in Week 7 and faces off against a Giants defense that allows an average of 8 points per week to kickers. Use him in DFS play if you need some salary cap relief.

Josh Lambo "Gallardo" is flexing his leg and doing it with authority as he has an 80% success rate on field goals between 40-49 yards and also has put in one of two 50+ yarders. We like his upside at home versus the Oakland Raiders, a team allowing an average of 11.60 fantasy points per week to fantasy legs.

Speaking of leg for days, Cairo "Egypt" Santos has already popped in two 50+ yarders (albeit he also missing two others) and the former Brazilian soccer player faces off against a Steelers team that has surrendered the eleventh most fantasy points per week to kickers; use him as a FanDuel sleeper or off the waiver wire if you need a bye week fill-in for Robbie Gould or B-Mac.

Chandler "Bing" Catanzaro is currently the seventh leading kicker in fantasy football and has been a tier two staple for a while. His Cardinals have kept him fairly busy and in Week 7 they will host the Ravens. This is a deep DFS sleeper play and certain waiver wire pickup if he's available as Baltimore has allowed an average of 12.2 points per week to place kickers; second worst in the NFL.

Matt "AARP" Bryant was already an NFL veteran the year John F. Kennedy was assassinated, but in Week 7 he takes his senior citizen benefits card to Tennessee to face off against a Titans defense that has been extremely stingy versus fantasy kickers. We like his team's offensive upside, but this may be a week to avoid the grizzled veteran in favor of a younger and fresher leg.

Tier 3 NFL Kickers: San Francisco 49ers (Phil Dawson), Oakland Raiders (Sebastian Janikowski), Washington Redskins (Dustin Hopkins), St. Louis Rams (Greg Zuerlein), Carolina Panthers (Graham Gano)

Phil "The Pill" Dawson is almost the forgotten about man, but suddenly San Francisco is putting up numbers and he's put up a total of 24 fantasy points over the last two weeks. In Week 7 he gets to host the mediocre Seahawks defense that is allowing a healthy 8.20 fantasy points per week to opposing legs. Use him off the wire with reasonable confidence and certainly don't hesitate to stuff him into your FanDuel GPP lineup.

Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein had the week off for Week 6, but we are ever so thankful for the return of "Young GZ" for Week 7's home showdown with the Browns. Legatron is currently rated the ninth best kicker based on PFF's ratings and can be relied upon for sure off the wire or as a DFS play.

Dustin Hopkins is the man getting the work in Washington these days and has reaped the benefits of his strong leg and even stronger PFF ratings; coming in with two 50+ yarders and being ranked fifth overall among place kickers through his four games played. Use him with pretty good confidence in Week 7 versus the Buccaneers.

Graham "Cracker Crunch" Gano gets a very favorable matchup in Week 7 versus the Eagles defense that allows an average of 9.60 fantasy points per week to kickers. This is a great stream play and possible DFS contrarian play for those with the stones to use him in Week 7.

Last but never least, the leg that will forever be enshrined in the kickers hall of fame (not really sure there is one, but he's a legend in our own minds), Napoleon "Seabass" Janikowski. PFF has been fairly generous to one of the slothiest guys in the NFL, giving him above average kicking grades through 5 games. We do have our concerns though that his famous sh*t-kicker leg may be degraded from hard drugs and too many adult beverages since there have been zero attempts at 50+ yarders so far in the young 2015 season.

Either way the "Polish Powder Keg" will forever be in our tier three rankings (as long as the Raiders are not on bye week) simply because we are contractually obligated to remind you of his awkward nicknames and porn-star-partying ways. Thankfully the Chargers are also allowing enough fantasy points per week on average, 7.60 to be exact, allowing us to feel half way decent for putting him in our Top 14 kickers for Week 7.

If you don't see someone who's leg you adore in this week's article, you can assume we view them as having a less favorable matchup than our top choices for Week 7. Good luck streaming and dreaming RotoBallers and may the leg be with you.
