Introduction

Just a bit of housekeeping before we begin.

I'll be using a unit-based system. You can play whatever you want. Each bet will have up to 10 units placed on it. Ten units show the highest confidence level I have on a bet and one is my least confident.

We're using multiple sportsbooks to bring you the best odds for each bet. If you are new to any of these sportsbooks, be sure to take advantage of their promo offers. Otherwise, just use the sportsbook(s) you already use. Most of them will offer the same bet types as we have listed below.

Betting on sports should be fun. If you aren't having fun with it, stop. And never bet what you can't afford to lose. Good luck with your Euro 2024 bets. Just remember to bet responsibly!

Group Matches

We won't look beyond the first round of matches as they will be dependent on how each team's first game goes. However, some odds stand out to kick things off.

Saturday, June 15 - 09:00 a.m. EDT

Hungary vs. Switzerland both teams to score
BetMGM -110 (6 units)

After keeping clean sheets in each of their first three qualifying games, Hungary conceded a goal in its remaining five games. It also managed to score at least two in those five matches. Switzerland drew five of its 10 qualifying games with both teams scoring in six of the 10 matches. The Swiss kept a clean sheet in both of their first two qualifying games before conceding in seven of their next eight. The only clean sheet coming against Andorra.

Three years ago, Switzerland reached the quarter-finals stage. Both teams scored in four of their five games. Hungary was drawn in a group with Germany, Portugal, and France three years ago. They still managed two draws, scoring in both of those games. In a group containing Germany and Scotland, it's set to be very competitive and a win for either team will put them in great shape to reach the second round.

Sunday, June 16 - 09:00 a.m. EDT

Netherlands to beat Poland
William Hill -175 (9 units)

The Dutch won six of their eight qualifying games. Their two defeats both came against France. Poland finished third in its qualifying group, behind Albania and Czechia. It won the playoff game against Estonia before needing a penalty shootout to beat Wales. The Poles will also have to do without their record goal-scorer, Robert Lewandowski, as he recovers from injury. This looks like the perfect game for the Dutch to get their campaign off to a flyer.

Tuesday, June 18 - 12:00 p.m. EDT

Turkey to beat Georgia
William Hill -125 (7 units)

Turkey topped its qualifying group, which included Croatia. It lacks an out-and-out goal-scorer but shares the goals around, having had 12 different scorers in qualifying. Georgia reached the playoffs due to its UEFA Nations League performance after finishing fourth in its Euro qualifying group. Its only two wins came against Cyprus, so it's difficult to see how it manages to get a result in its first game at a major tournament.

Parlay: Hungary/Switzerland both to score, Netherlands to beat Poland, and Turkey to beat Georgia
William Hill +407 (2 units)

Parlay: Romania/Ukraine to draw and Spain/Croatia to draw
BetMGM +1150 (1 unit)

Group Stages

Parlay: To win their groups - Germany, England, and Belgium
FanDuel +201 (5 units)

All three teams are the standouts in their respective groups. The remaining three teams in each group look set to squabble over the second and third spots and will take points off one another. That should mean Germany, England, and Belgium can all afford to drop points and still win their groups. Germany has the advantage of being hosts while England and Belgium both went through their qualifying campaigns without losing.

Parlay: To qualify for the second round - Slovenia, Slovakia, and Czechia
DraftKings +546 (3 units)

Three years ago, four points were enough for third-place teams to reach the second round. One third-place team got through the group stages with three points, so a win and a draw will be enough to reach the Round of 16. With that being said, all three teams will have a good chance of picking up the required four points.

Czechia only lost one group game and has won its last four friendlies. It should beat Georgia, so it will just need a draw against Turkey or Portugal. Slovakia will fancy its chances of getting four points against Romania and Ukraine. Its only two defeats in qualifying came against Portugal, with seven wins from its other eight games. If it manages to get a result against Belgium in the opener, it should be a lock for reaching the second round.

Slovenia drew with Denmark in the qualifying stage and will play England in the final game of the group. That could be an advantage as England may already have qualified and rest some key players. Star striker Benjamin Šeško was set to be a transfer target for multiple teams but has signed a new contract with RB Leipzig. That should mean his focus can remain solely on helping guide his team through to the knockout stage.

To lose all three group games - Georgia
William Hill +333 (2 units)

Take nothing away from Georgia. It has done remarkably well to reach the Euros for the first time. But, as mentioned, it won just two of the eight qualifying games and finished fourth in its group. It only reached the tournament due to the UEFA Nations League, topping a group containing Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Gibraltar. It then beat Luxembourg and needed penalties to beat Greece in the final playoff game.

Of the five teams it overcame to reach Euro 2024, Greece is the highest ranked at 50 (according to the FIFA World Rankings). Georgia itself ranks 75th, the lowest of any side at the Euros. It's tough to see how it avoids defeat against Portugal while Turkey and Czechia will know they have to beat Georgia if they are to reach the second round. They'll have done remarkably well to get one point at the tournament.

Team Performances

To reach the quarter-finals - Belgium
William Hill -125 (7 units)

The "Golden Generation" of Belgian football may have come and gone, but it still has plenty of top-level talent in its squad. We've already covered why it should win its group. If it does, its second-round tie will be against a team that finishes third in its group. Even with some quirky results in the group stage, it will likely be a strong favorite in that tie, so taking it to reach the last eight looks optimal.

To reach the quarter-finals - Italy
FanDuel +110 (6 units)

The reigning champions haven't been well-backed to retain the trophy. They have a tough group, with Spain and Croatia also featuring. But, assuming they finish in either of the top two spots, they will face a group runner-up in the Round of 16. They will likely be favorites in that tie. Providing they don't have a disastrous group stage, the Italians should make the last eight. Something they've done in each of the last four European Championships.

To reach the semi-finals - Portugal
DraftKings +150 (3 units)

Portugal has the easiest group on paper. Should it win it as expected, it will face a third-place team in the Round of 16. Its route to the quarter-finals could be one of the most straightforward in the tournament. It has great squad depth and has reached the semi-finals in four of the last six European Championships. It is a dark horse to win it but should at least reach the final four.

To reach the final - Spain
DraftKings +350 (2 units)

Since its last tournament victory in 2010, Spain has played in five World Cups and European Championships. It has only reached the quarter-finals once. That was three years ago when it reached the semi-finals. It has been working with a young squad to return to those dominant years over 10 years ago. While this tournament may come too early, it has plenty of talent. Providing it gets through a tough group, it will have a nice run to the latter stages. It's also worth taking Spain at a widely available +800 to win the tournament.

Tournament winner - France
William Hill and BetMGM +400 (2 units)

Assuming they both win their groups, France and England are set to clash in the semi-finals. The two tournament favorites met at the World Cup 18 months ago, with France winning 2-1. Although England has the best-attacking talents at the tournament, France looks a more balanced side. It's difficult to see anyone else beating the side that only missed out on a World Cup 18 months ago on a penalty shootout.

Player Props

UEFA Player of the Tournament - Kylian Mbappé
William Hill +550 (2 units)

A player of the tournament rarely comes from a nation that doesn't win the trophy. So, if we're backing France to win the Euro, it makes sense that its superstar will be Player of the Tournament. In eight qualifying games, Mbappé scored nine goals and tallied five assists. He flopped at the Euro three years ago, failing to score in any of France's four games. But, he made amends at the World Cup in 2022, scoring eight goals, including a hat trick in the final.

He came runner-up as the Player of the Tournament at the World Cup despite winning the Golden Boot as the top scorer. You can get odds of around +500 for Mbappé to win the Golden Boot at this year's tournament, too, which provides value. But as we've seen in previous tournaments, one game can swing that in another player's favor. He'll be desperate to put his last Euro performance behind him and recreate his World Cup form in Germany.

Tournament top scorer - Cristiano Ronaldo
FanDuel +1400 (2 units)

Only Romelu Lukaku scored more goals in qualifying than Ronaldo (10 goals). He was joint top scorer at the last Euro with five goals. And with arguably the easiest group on paper, Ronaldo could easily find himself with four goals before the knockout stages. Ronaldo is Portugal's penalty-taker and will take free kicks in attacking areas when he can have a shot at goal. In what will surely be his last Euro, Ronaldo winning the Golden Boot wouldn't surprise.

Tournament most assists - Nico Williams
FanDuel +4200 (1 unit)

If Spain is to have a deep run in the tournament, it will have to score plenty of goals. If it has to score plenty of goals, someone will need to be creating them. Step forward, Nico Williams. The winger tallied three assists in four games (two starts) during qualifying and came second in assists during the La Liga season with 11 (31 games). It's worth a big-priced punt on the 21-year-old and taking him as Young Player of the Tournament at +1800 also makes sense.

Belgium top scorer - Romelu Lukaku
BetMGM -118 (5 units)

With 14 goals, Lukaku was the top scorer in all of qualifying. He top-scored for Belgium at the last Euro, scoring four goals in five games. With 85 goals (115 games) for Belgium, Lukaku is the nation's all-time leading scorer and he should extend his record in Germany. Belgium has plenty of creative talents but Lukaku is its one true striker. Taking him to finish as the tournament top scorer is also intriguing at +1600 with DraftKings.

Hungary top scorer - Barnabás Varga
William Hill and DraftKings +350 (3 units)

Dominik Szoboszlai will get most of the attention among the Hungarian squad. However, Varga was the joint top scorer for Hungary during the qualifying stage, despite playing just six games. He scored in all four matches he started. Both players scored four goals with Szoboszlai scoring one penalty. Penalties might be harder to come by at the tournament and after scoring twice in their final friendly, Varga is set to lead the line for Hungary at the Euro.

Spain top scorer - Alvaro Morata
BetMGM +250 (2 units)

Morata has been much maligned throughout his career. But, he topped the scoring charts for Spain during the qualifying stage (four goals in six games). He will likely lead the line to start the tournament, and as long as he gets enough minutes, will be in with a great shot to be Spain's leading scorer at the tournament. He's far from a natural finisher but has a solid record of nine goals in 14 games (10 starts) for Spain at major tournaments.

Slovenia top scorer - Benjamin Šeško
BetMGM and DraftKings +350 (2 units)

We've already covered how Šeško will be crucial to Slovenia's chances of reaching the knockout stages. Given that's what we're going for, the RB Leipzig striker top-scoring for his nation seems an obvious play. He did so in qualifying with five goals and scored 14 goals in 31 games (17 starts) in the Bundesliga this season. He'll be the focal point of Slovenia's attack, so Šeško should have every chance to find the net in each game it plays.

Parlay: Romelu Lukaku and Barnabás Varga to top score for their nations
DraftKings +741 (2 units)

Parlay: Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata, Barnabás Varga, and Benjamin Šeško to top score for their nations
DraftKings +9469 (1 unit)
