Quentin Johnston, Tre Tucker, Parker Washington: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 11

Quentin Johnston - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Should I start Quentin Johnston, Tre Tucker, Parker Washington for Week 11? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.

It's generally easier to find startable wide receivers in fantasy football in the later rounds of the drafts or on waivers. But it's a bit harder to predict how they'll play compared to a team's starting running back, which doesn't help.

Looking to their matchups, how they've played recently, how their offense is doing as a whole, and other factors can help you get a better idea of how they'll play, though. That's why analysis is important.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston, Las Vegas Raiders wideout Tre Tucker, and Jacksonville Jaguars WR Parker Washington (hamstring) are three WRs you might consider starting this week. But should you? Let's dive in.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Start Quentin Johnston for Fantasy Football?

After what looked like a breakout effort in the first few weeks that would lead into a league-winning season from Johnston (shin), he quickly fell back down to earth in his subsequent games. By that I mean he scored just 6.9 PPR fantasy points in Week 5, sat out in Week 6 due to injury, and put up a goose egg in Week 8.

Johnston's ceiling has come crashing down, and while he's had 11.0 and 15.3 point games in the meantime, he's clearly not the elite top-5 fantasy wideout he once was. The Chargers have spread the ball around a bit more evenly in recent weeks, and it appears that WR Ladd McConkey is once again their top receiver.

It's at least clear that Johnston has leveled his game up after his first two disgustingly ugly years to start his NFL career. The hideous drop problem that plagued him in 2023 and 2024 appears to be addressed to a large degree, and we've seen more of the player that the Chargers thought they were getting when they drafted him.

He's a big, physical presence in the receiving game after the catch, even if his contested catch ability is lacking. That makes him a mismatch weapon for quite a few NFL cornerbacks. And I recommend starting him this week. He gets a nuts matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have a horrendous pass defense.

He could have a nice game even if he doesn't get nine or more targets. He was limited at practice with a shin injury, but I'm expecting him to suit up for Sunday's contest.

Should I Start Tre Tucker for Fantasy Football?

Tucker is another WR that gets to face an incredibly soft pass defense. The Raiders will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Though their quarterback, Geno Smith, has struggled massively this season, he's shown that he can be productive in games against poor defensive talent.

Las Vegas had to face the stiff Denver Broncos defense last week. That was the first game they played after they traded away WR Jakobi Meyers, and Tucker was expected to have a bigger role. It didn't amount to much, but Smith also only completed 16 of his 26 passes for 143 passing yards and one interception.

The Cowboys have been making even backup quarterbacks look like quality starters, so Smith should have a much better day against them. Tucker makes sense as a flex start in 14-team PPR leagues because of the quality of the matchup and his high snap rate.

The problem is that tight end Brock Bowers could just dominate the passing game usage for the Raiders. He's a risky start in 12-team leagues.

Should I Start Parker Washington for Fantasy Football?

Washington was the clear WR1 for the Jaguars last week, but he's now dealing with a hamstring injury. The Jaguars faced one of the best defenses in the NFL, the Houston Texans, and still put up a respectable 29 points on offense. Washington was targeted seven times, but hauled in just three passes for 33 yards.

He did score two total touchdowns, though -- one through the air and one on special teams. It's hard to predict a special teams touchdown at any point in the season for a player, so we won't be doing that this week, but the reception number wasn't encouraging.

If your league counts return yards, Washington is almost certainly a starter. But if it doesn't, there's plenty of risk in starting him in Week 11. For starters, the aforementioned Meyers could have a larger role. Additionally, WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) returned to practice, and could end up playing.

Washington's bull case revolved around the Jaguars having no one else to throw it to. The trade for Meyers indicated that the Jaguars aren't happy with the current situation -- with WR Travis Hunter (knee) out for the rest of the season, they need reinforcements.

Washington should continue to operate in the slot role, at least, and that gives him value. Jaguars head coach Liam Coen's offense tends to feed the slot receiver heavily. With the hamstring injury complicating things, Washington is a flex start in deeper PPR leagues for now.
