South Carolina Dismisses Sam Williams-Dixon From Program
South Carolina has dismissed running back Sam Williams-Dixon from the program, according to On3. It was announced on Sunday that Williams-Dixon was arrested on charges of grand larceny and criminal conspiracy. He was released on a $150,000 bond on Sunday. Williams-Dixon was competing for a role in South Carolina's backfield this offseason after transferring from Ohio State. He tallied 10 rushes for 62 yards and one touchdown over the last two seasons with the Buckeyes. Matt Fuller, Christian Clark, and Jawarn Howell figure to have roles in the Gamecocks' backfield in 2026.
