Devontez Walker Showcasing his Size and Speed
Devontez Walker would have won the most improved player award by a landslide if the team had given one out at the end of the offseason program. Walker made plays in nearly every practice and was showcasing his size and speed after being barely noticeable through offseason workouts and training camp in 2024. “He’s got a chance to be really good,” head coach John Harbaugh said. The 24-year-old is playing faster while showing more confidence and polish in his game. The former fourth-rounder (113th overall) last year caught just one pass on three targets for 21 yards and a touchdown in nine regular-season games. Walker has some big-play ability down the field, but if all three of Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and DeAndre Hopkins stay healthy, he'll have a tough time making noise for fantasy managers.
