Brendan Sorsby's Agent Says Cincinnati Knew About His Gambling
Just days after quarterback Brendan Sorsby exited the Texas Tech program and decided to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft, Sorsby's agent, Ron Slavin, said Cincinnati knew about his gambling addiction. He claims the Bearcats program should be "catching heat" instead of Texas Tech. "They knew for two years and never said anything or didn't do anything about it," Slavin said via "105.3 The Fan in Dallas". "That's the part of the story that gets lost." It was previously reported that Cincinnati knew about his gambling behavior in August of 2025, but Sorsby still played an entire season for them after the fact. It remains to be seen if Cincinnati will receive punishment after this has come to light.
