Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Luka Doncic, DAL vs. PHX - PG ($11,300 DK; $12,200 FD)

Doncic has been virtually unstoppable in his first two games back from an ankle injury, scoring well over 70 fantasy points on both sites against the Lakers and Celtics. He has another marquee matchup on tap Wednesday, and it is worth noting Doncic has just been added (as of this writing late Tuesday night) to the injury report with a questionable tag due to lower back tightness.

However, if he does suit up, he'll face a Suns team he absolutely devastated in his one prior meeting with them this season, scoring 97.5 DK/96.7 FD points in a Christmas Day clash with Phoenix. Devin Booker and company remain a good target for DFS purposes, as they're allowing the eighth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (28.7), along with 39.5 percent three-point shooting to the position.

LaMelo Ball, CHA at DET - PG ($9,600 DK; $9,800 FD)

Ball is always a good play at his current salaries given his ceiling, but even more so now that Terry Rozier has been traded to the Heat. Ball is averaging 48 DK/45.5 FD points per game, and he boasts a team-high 35.4 percent usage rate and averages 56.7 DK/53.9 FD points per 36 minutes with Rozier off the floor this season. Moreover, the Pistons already conceded 49.8 DK/49.3 FD points to Ball in 33 minutes during the one prior meeting with him, and Detroit is allowing fifth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (29.6) while also yielding 52.7/51.8 FD points per contest to ones in the last 15 games.

Sam Merrill, CLE at MIL - SG ($5,300 DK; $5,600 FD)

Merrill offered a glimpse of his upside with a couple of 30+ fantasy-point tallies on each site in the latter portion of December, and he's followed it up with 14.6 points (on 42.4% three-point shooting), 4.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 25.6 minutes over his first nine games in January. He's eclipsed 30 fantasy points in each of his last two games as well, and he now faces a Bucks team he posted 24.8 DK/23.5 FD points across 22 minutes three games ago. Merrill's prospects remain bright, considering Milwaukee is allowing the third-highest offensive efficiency rating to second-unit players (48.0) and 46.4 DK/44.9 FD points per game to two-guards in the last 15 contests.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jalen Green, HOU vs. POR - PG/SG ($6,200 DK; $6,300 FD)

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Edwards, MIN at WAS  - SF/SG/PG ($8,700 DK; $8,800 FD)

The Wizards have been a prime target for DFS players with good reason this season, as Washington plays at the second-highest pace in the league (106.3) and is surrendering a league-high 152.1 offensive efficiency rating to opponents, along with 50.0 percent shooting. Edwards is shooting a crisp 49.0 percent over his last 20 games, a stretch during which he's eclipsed 40 fantasy points on 14 occasions, including the 50 mark in six instances. The Wizards also happen to be one of the poorest teams in the league at defending shooting guards, allowing an NBA-high 26.7 offensive efficiency rating to twos, along with 45.5 DK/44.9 FD points per game to the position.

Brandon Miller, CHA at DET – SF/SG ($6,100 DK; $6,700 FD)

Miller has easily outpaced his current salaries in recent games, and like Ball, he could certainly be in a position to benefit from Rozier's recent exit. Miller is already averaging 30.1 DK/29.4 FD points per 36 minutes without Rozier on the floor, and he already posted 31 DK/30.2 FD points against the Pistons in what was only his second professional game. Detroit remains a good candidate to coax another strong performance out of Miller, as the Pistons are conceding the third-highest offensive efficiency rating to two-guards (25.8), as well as the fifth-most DK (44.9) and third-most FD (45.1) points per game to shooting guards.

Isaiah Stewart, DET vs. CHA – PF/C ($5,500 DK; $6,100 FD)

Stewart's salaries are especially eye-catching, considering he's scored 28 to 46.5 DK and 29.8 to 51.6 FD points in the last three games. The big man is averaging just under 35 fantasy points on either site over the last seven games overall, putting up 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 blocks while shooting 51.5 percent, including 42.4 percent from behind the arc. Stewart already put up 26.3 DK/23.9 FD points against the Hornets in one prior meeting this season, and Charlotte is allowing the third-offensive efficiency rating to power forwards (31.8) while also surrendering the third-most DK (52.9) and fourth-most FD (50.6) points per game to the position in the last 30 games.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jalen Johnson, ATL at GSW – PF ($7,200 DK, *Game not on FD main slate*)

Today's DraftKings, FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Alperen Sengun, HOU vs. POR – C ($8,300 DK; $9,400 FD)

Sengun has enjoyed a breakout season and has already delivered multiple performances worthy of higher salaries than he's carrying Wednesday, particularly on DK. The versatile big man checks into Wednesday coming off some outstanding performances, as he's averaged 52.4 DK/51 FD points over his last three games alone. Sengun has yet to face the Blazers this season, but Portland shapes up as a highly appealing option on the second game of a back-to-back set and allowing the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (36.1), along with an NBA-high 66.5 DK/67.2 FD points per game to the position over the last 15 contests.

Rudy Gobert, MIN at WAS - C ($7,800 DK; $8,200 FD)

Gobert is essentially in as good a matchup as Sengun on Wednesday, as the Wizards have been a doormat in the frontcourt all season. Washington is surrendering an NBA-high 39.9 offensive efficiency rating to centers, along with the most DK (67.3) and FD (66.1) points per game to fives in the last 30 games. What's more, Washington is giving up an NBA-high 57.9 rebounds per game, as well as an NBA-high 8.7 blocks over the last three contests. Moreover, the Wizards are also surrendering the second-most points in the paint per game (58.3), an area of the floor where just over 75% of Gobert's scoring originates.

Duop Reath, POR at HOU - C ($4,700 DK; $5,400 FD)

Reath will be on the second night of a back-to-back set on Wednesday, but at his salaries, he's certainly worth a look. The rookie has worked himself into a steady part of the Trail Blazers' frontcourt rotation, and for the moment, he's arguably outplaying starter Deandre Ayton. Reath has scored 22.3 to 32 DK/22.4 to 32.7 FD points in six of the last seven games, excellent returns on his current salaries. The Rockets have allowed the eighth-most rebounds per contest to second-unit players as well, brightening Reath's prospects further.

ALSO CONSIDER: Victor Wembanyama, SAN vs. OKC - C/PF ($8,300 DK, *Game not on FD main slate*)
