Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for Week 4 of 2026 (April 20 - April 26). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.
The season is rolling right along, and we have nearly a full month of games under our belt. The fantasy baseball season is a marathon, not a sprint, but it's important to stay competitive early in the year and at least give your team an opportunity to get hot down the stretch. So sitting on unproductive, marginal hitters makes little sense. There are quite a few bats available on the wire who could help you win in the short term!
My weekly hitters, streamers, fantasy baseball waiver-wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered for waiver-wire pickups or streamers ahead of Sunday night's waiver-wire runs in leagues with weekly transactions. Because of format changes to Yahoo leagues this year, players featured in this article this week are rostered in 30% or fewer leagues on Yahoo (yes, I'm increasing this number as the wire is already getting picked over pretty aggressively this season).
You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller. Now, let's see which hitters we should consider grabbing off the wire as we roll into Week 4 of the fantasy baseball season!

Week 4 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers
I'll recommend only players who are 30 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!
Jake Burger, 1B - TEX (27%)
It's been a tale of three seasons for Burger so far. He was red hot for the first week of the season, then started April with no home runs and just one RBI over his first 12 games. Now, he's on fire again, smacking three dingers and driving in 10 runs over the last week.
It all evens out in the end, and it's amounted to 17 RBI over 21 games and a respectable .262 average. He does face a stingy Pirates starting pitching staff this week, but will avoid Paul Skenes at least. He's arguably the best power bat this widely available, so give him a look if you need home runs and RBI.
Luke Raley, 1B/OF - SEA (22%)
Here's the other big power bat you should consider. Raley is off to the best start of his career, hitting .318 with five home runs and 13 RBI across 16 starts.

He's on the strong side of a platoon and getting at-bats late in games as a pinch hitter, too. He's making every plate appearance count right now, and should face some very hittable Athletics and Cardinals pitchers this week.
Jake Bauers, 1B/OF - MIL (19%)
Bauers is putting up nearly identical numbers as Raley over in Milwaukee, with a slightly lower average but also adding a handful of stolen bases. With eligibility at first base and outfield, he's a solid backup plan if you can't land Raley.
Bauers is a platoon bat, too, but likely to draw five or six starts this week and will be able to avoid both Tarik Skubal and Framber Valdez when the Brewers head to Detroit to begin the week.
Carson Benge, OF - NYM (15%)
The rookie has yet to make much of an impact as a hitter, but I find it pretty fascinating that he's been inserted into the leadoff spot in the lineup the last two games for the struggling Mets. They're trying anything they can to get this offense ignited, and Benge is a better hitter than he's shown, I am convinced of that.
He's already stolen five bases, so there's some value there if he can get on base. I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, so if another manager in your league already dumped him, give him a look!
Jose Fernandez, SS, 1B - ARZ (14%)
I mentioned at the beginning of the article that Arizona plays only five games, and then I ended up including multiple Arizona players because they just so happen to be a team with a lot of value available. If you have daily lineups, then it's not just a big deal, and you can probably get away with rostering Fernandez or other Arizona bats this week.
Moises Ballesteros, C - CHC (14%)
The roly-poly catcher/DH known as "Mo Baller" is absolutely demolishing baseballs so far this season for the Cubs. Get this kid in the lineup every day, Chicago!

— Chicago Cubs (@Cubs) April 17, 2026
The youngster is hitting .381 and spraying the ball all over the field with great results. He's not a true "home run hitter" but has a big swing that results in a lot of incredibly hard contact.
It's tough to justify rostering a second catcher in one-catcher leagues, but this kid is a hitter and could provide some solid value this year. I'm buying into the recent production as a taste of his long-term potential.
Jung Hoo Lee, OF - SFG (11%)
I mentioned Lee in last week's article, and he had multiple hits in three games this week, while hitting safely in every game and scoring four runs. If you need batting average and runs scored, he's still out there waiting to be claimed.
Dominic Smith, 1B - ATL (11%)
I know I have too many platoon first basemen on this list already, but Smith has been too good to ignore. He's now up to .362 on the season with four home runs and 16 RBI. He'll start the week with plus matchups against the Washington pitching staff, too.
Nolan Arenado, 3B - ARI (11%)
The veteran third baseman is finally warming up at the plate. All three of his home runs this year have come in his last five games, and he has three multi-hit games in that stretch. It's a short week for the Snakes, but a matchup against the White Sox staff is appealing, especially since they won't see the big rookie Noah Schultz either.
Brooks Lee, 2B/3B/SS - MIN (9%)
Lee is a big target of mine this week, as I really need some help at SS on multiple teams with some injuries. The switch-hitter has been really solid at the plate lately, hitting safely in eight of his last nine games while scoring six runs and hitting three home runs.
Marcell Ozuna, UTIL - PIT (8%)
The "Big Bear," as they refer to him in Pittsburgh, has finally awoken from hibernation. He didn't hit anything for weeks, but is 9 for 22 over his last five games with two home runs and seven RBI. He should continue to DH nearly every day for the Pirates, who have been a pleasant surprise on offense. He has some good hitters ahead of him in the lineup who should set the table for him to have ample RBI opportunities.
Ildemaro Vargas, 1B/2B - ARI (8%)
Yeah, I know - another Arizona guy! But Vargas is hitting .377 and has scored a run in eight of his last nine starts. As long as he's in the lineup, he makes for a solid streaming option for teams that need average and runs scored.
Daniel Schneemann, 2B/3B/SS/OF - CLE (7%)
Every team needs a super-utility guy, right? Last year it was Josh Smith who was eligible at a million positions and streamable nearly every week. Right now, Schneemann is red-hot at the plate, collecting 10 hits over his last six starts, including two home runs. He doesn't start against LHP, but he's doing work against righties, and a super cheap option you should consider this week.
Casey Schmitt, 1B/2B/3B - SFG (6%)
The Giants haven't hit much this year, but Schmitt is one guy who has been pretty consistent at the plate. He's hitting .317 on the year and has moved up into the five-hole lately because of his consistency. He has limited power, but can chip in just about everywhere else, other than stolen bases.
Week 4 Deep League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers
Some widely available hitters (under 5% rostered) could be worth a look this week due to hot starts at the plate or strong matchups.
- Jesus Sanchez, OF - TOR (5%)
- Josh Lowe, OF - LAA (3%)
- Connor Norby, 1B/3B - MIA (3%)
- Jonny DeLuca, OF - TBR (1%)
- Adam Frazier, 2B/OF - LAD (1%)
- Taylor Walls, SS - TBR (1%)
Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! And, as always, thanks for making RotoBaller your choice for fantasy baseball content all season long!
