Nic Anderson Impressing Will Stein With Speed
Kentucky wide receiver Nic Anderson has impressed head coach Will Stein with his speed throughout fall camp. The former blue-chip wide receiver had a frustrating year with LSU last season, totaling only 12 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns, despite being one of LSU's biggest portal snags. During Anderson's redshirt freshman breakout year at Oklahoma, he hauled in 38 receptions for 798 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kentucky's 2025 passing attack left a lot of room for improvement, as they only averaged 201.9 passing yards per game and scored only 23 points per game against a tough SEC schedule. However, optimism surrounds Kentucky's passing game this season, with Notre Dame transfer quarterback Kenny Minchey running the offense. Stein believes that Minchey can eclipse the 70% completion rate, and if that happens, Anderson could return to his freshman-year form and be a must-add across all league formats.
