Darren Elkins Retires After First-Round TKO Loss
UFC veteran Darren Elkins officially retired after suffering a first-round TKO loss to Yadier del Valle on the main card of UFC Vegas 120 on Saturday. Known for his incredible durability, Elkins wasn't able to endure punishment this time around as he got finished in just 35 seconds, marking his second consecutive stoppage loss. In 35 seconds of action, Elkins didn't land any significant strikes or takedowns. Elkins retires with a 29-13 record, including a record for the most bouts in UFC featherweight history with 29 bouts.
