Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday (9/13/25) late slate in Week 3. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.
I love these late slates, especially early in the season. We see some very interesting matchups on these slates at this time of year. This is a small-but-mighty one to close out Week 3 of the 2025 season. There are a lot of ways to go with this one!
All three games start at the same time, so it's a four-hour sprint to a takedown with more than half of the U.S. in bed. It doesn't get any better than this! Texas State (who just took down UTSA) is the only Group of 5 team on the slate tonight. The rest are power schools.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the late DraftKings slate on 9/13/25, starting at 10:30 pm Eastern. I’ll give multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower end. DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Dylan Lonergan, Boston College ($7.3K)

This is the easiest play on the slate, so expect many lineups to have Lonergan. That's fine. We can get different elsewhere. Don't worry about the blowout factor. Lonergan threw 34 passes and still had four passing touchdowns in the opener against Fordham. He'll get there. Lonergan should still be the highest-scoring player on the slate.
Brad Jackson, Texas State ($6.8K)
Jackson has accounted for at least three touchdowns in each of the first two games. The Arizona State defense was hit deep a few times by Mississippi State last week. Don't be shocked if it happens again. Texas State has the quarterback and the receivers to make it happen.
There are more run-first offenses on this slate, so going with a quarterback who is guaranteed to throw 25 passes is a good idea.
Also consider: Sam Leavitt, Arizona State ($8K); Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, California ($6.2K)

Raleek Brown, Arizona State ($6.6K)

Kyson Brown went down early against Mississippi State, but his backups both ran for over 100 yards. Kyson is expected to miss this game. Raleek also added a couple of receptions out of the backfield.
The Bobcats got chewed up by Robert Henry Jr. last week. Expect Arizona State to attack with both Brown and Kanye Udoh. Both are excellent plays. I can see 20 touches for each in this game. Texas State has allowed 388 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns in two games.
Turbo Richard, Boston College ($5.5K)
This is the perfect name for a running back. Stanford's run defense may be the best part of the team right now, but Richard is so dangerous as a receiver that this price still feels low. He is only averaging 3.5 yards per carry. We're using Turbo for the receptions and his chance of breaking one.
Also consider: Kanye Udoh, Arizona State ($6.1K); Lincoln Pare ($5.3K); A.J. Turner, Minnesota ($4K)

Tyson has 209 of the 339 receiving yards for the Sun Devils this year. That is almost 62% of the receiving production. Yes, Arizona State is going to continue to run the ball because that is where they are most successful (and where Texas State is weakest on defense), but they won't run the entire game.
Say Arizona State throws for around 200 yards. If the current production holds, Tyson will end up with about 124 yards of those 200. He's worth the price, no matter what the game script looks like. Lock him in!
Beau Sparks, Texas State ($6.4K)
The Bobcats are going to have to throw to keep up. Actually, they should throw anyway. Arizona State has allowed 521 passing yards already this season. One of the teams they played was Northern Arizona.
Sparks is the favorite target of Jackson. He already has 12 receptions for 237 yards on the season with five touchdowns. I could see Sparks getting loose in this secondary. It was the reason Arizona State lost in StarkVegas last week.
Mason Mini, California ($4.4K)
The tight end is a young quarterback's best friend. Mini has nine receptions already in two games. He's not going to get deep, but he's a reliable red zone target and will rack up the points on receptions. The dump-offs are one of the few things that will be open against that stout Gophers defense.
Javon Tracy, Minnesota ($3.8K)
It's hard to glean much from last week, but Tracy did find the end zone in the blowout of Northwestern State. Minnesota may not have a lot of passing volume in this one, but Tracy is a solid GPP dart.
Also consider: Lewis Bond, Boston College ($6.8K); Jalen Smith, Minnesota ($5.7K); Jaedn Skeete, Boston College ($3.9K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Arizona State
This could be a high-scoring game with Texas State's passing attack. That makes this a good stack scenario for both teams, though Texas State is much more of a GPP-only stack.
I have no issue running the ASU four-man back with Jackson and Sparks. Running Sam Leavitt with Raleek Brown and Udoh with Tyson as the receiver makes this a little tougher. If you add Sparks and Jackson to those four, you only have $8K left for the final two roster spots.
The good news is that there are plenty of cheap receivers that can be used to make it happen. It's also guaranteed to be one of the more unpopular builds in a GPP tournament.
Boston College
It's easy to just declare Stanford as a bad team and not look into where they are bad. The offense is abysmal. The defense has been fairly solid (yes, that's a ringing endorsement in Stanford's universe).
It is also worth noting that Boston College just might be that good. Michigan State has a solid defense as well, and the Eagles scored 40 points on them. This is also one of the more affordable stacks with a very high ceiling.
You can run Richard with Lonergan, Bond, Skeete, and Jeremiah Franklin and still have $20.6K left for the other three lineup slots. This will lead to a very popular base build, so you need to get creative with the other three slots.
I would suggest running three players with no correlation or a QB/WR stack with a different RB. With that much cap left, most are going to add a three-man stack, probably from Arizona State, to the BC build.
Also consider: Minnesota, Texas State (GPP only)
