DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (12/13/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on December 13, 2023. Juan Carlos Blanco provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We're set for our usual robust mid-week slate, as there are nine games on the slate Wednesday. We could have some particularly favorable game environments for DFS production -- the Wizards, Pacers, and Hawks are all on the ledger after all -- so we'll have a solid amount of options across the salary scale to try and exploit those and other matchups with.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 12/13/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Tyrese Haliburton, IND at MIL – PG ($11,100 DK; $11,000 FD)

Haliburton has muscled himself into the MVP conversation early with his stellar play, including on big stages such as the In-Season Tournament. The star guard is averaging 54.9 DK/52.4 FD points per contest and has already lit up the Bucks for 58.3 percent shooting, including 44.4 percent from three-point range, over two games. Haliburton has averaged 59.9 DK/56.6 FD points in that pair of contests, and Milwaukee is surrendering the fifth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards as well (30.0).

Jalen Brunson, PG, NYK at UTA– PG ($8,200 DK; $7,800 FD)

Brunson has generated returns far exceeding his current salaries on several occasions this season, as he's eclipsed 50 fantasy points on four occasions on each site thus far. The veteran guard is averaging 40 DK/38.2 FD points per contest overall, and he's shooting a career-best 44.6 percent from three-point range. The Jazz could well coax one of his higher-end performances out of him, as Utah is allowing the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (29.5), along with the third-most DK (53.8) and second-most FD (49.0) points per game to the position.

Dennis Schroder, TOR vs. ATL– PG ($6,000 DK; $6,300 FD)

Schroder makes for an intriguing tournament value play, with his tallies of 48 DK/49.4 FD points against the Knicks on Monday serving as the latest example of his ability to blow past his current salaries. The veteran guard has eclipsed 32 DK and 31 FD points on 12 occasions overall, and he could be in a good position to put together one of his better outings again on Wednesday versus one of his old squads. The Hawks are playing at the league's third-fastest pace (106 possessions per game) and are surrendering the second-most DK (49.0) and third-most FD (48.5) points per game to PGs, along with the second-most assists per contest (28.3).

ALSO CONSIDER: Damian Lillard, MIL vs. IND - PG ($9,600 DK; $9,100 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. IND – PF/C ($11,400 DK; $10,100 FD)

Antetokounmpo is always a consideration irrespective of matchup or size of the slate, but he lines up as a particularly appealing option on Wednesday. The big man has already posted 57.5/71 DK points and 57/64.9 FD points in his first two encounters with the Pacers, who are averaging a league-high 108 possessions per game and giving up the fifth-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards (30.3). Antetokounmpo is also coming on a tear -- even by his lofty standards -- averaging over 60 fantasy points per contest on each site over the last 11 on the strength of 32.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.4 blocks during that span.

Tobias Harris, PHI at DET – SF/PF ($6,700 DK; $6,200 FD)

Harris is always a viable mid-salary play, and especially in the favorable matchup that one of his former squads presents. The Pistons already conceded 34.8 DK/33 FD points to Harris across 38 minutes in his one prior encounter with them this season. Detroit is yielding the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to small forwards (24.9) while also conceding 49.6 percent shooting, including 40.8 percent from three-point range, to the position. It's also worth noting Harris has been a markedly better long-range shooter on the road (35.5 percent from three-point range, in contrast to 28.6 percent at home), while Detroit is surrendering 37.0 percent three-point shooting overall, including 41.0 percent over the last three games.

Herbert Jones, NOP at WAS – SF/PF ($5,500 DK; $5,800 FD)

Even when Jones isn't clicking much on the offensive end, he manages to complement his fantasy production nicely with contributions in other categories. The third-year pro is averaging 34 FD points per contest in the last five games on the strength of a well-rounded 14.8 points (on 49.0 percent shooting), 6.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks per contest.

Jones is shooting a career-best 50.3 percent, and he should have a good chance to deliver excellent returns on investment in a matchup against a Wizards team averaging the second-most possessions per game (106.8) and allowing 47.5 percent shooting, including 39.7 percent from behind the arc, to small forwards. Washington is also surrendering an NBA-high 51 DK/50.3 FD points per game to threes as well, making Jones one of the potential best point-per-dollar plays of the night.

ALSO CONSIDER: Victor Wembanyama, SA vs. LAL ($8,800 DK; $9,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Davis, LAL at SA – PF/C ($9,800 DK; $11,300 FD)

Davis was at it again Tuesday against the Mavericks, posting 55.8 DK/54.2 FD points across 37 minutes. That came on the heels of his magnificent 41-point, 20-rebound double-double in the In-Season Tournament Championship on Saturday, which netted an astounding 81 DK points. The big man is playing as well as in his Pelicans heyday. Despite it being the second game of a back-to-back set, Davis could certainly have a chance to benefit from a matchup against a Spurs team surrendering a Western Conference-high 37.8 offensive efficiency rating to centers, along with 57.4 DK/55.9 FD points per game to the position.

Jonas Valanciunas, NOP at WAS – C ($6,700 DK; $6,600 FD)

Speaking of premium matchups for centers, none is better than that presented by the Wizards, who have allowed an NBA-high 41.0 offensive efficiency rating to centers, along with a league-high 64.1 DK/63.4 FD points per game to the position. Washington is also surrendering the most points (29.0) and rebounds (17.9) per game to fives, and Valanciunas checks in with at least 30 DK points in six of his last seven and at least 30 FD points on four occasions in that sample. Washington is also allowing the second-most points in the paint per game (59.8), an area of the floor where 61.0 percent of Valanciunas' points are scored.

Kevin Love, MIA vs. CHA – C ($5,200 DK; $5,700 FD)

Love has been doing a very effective job helping make up for the ongoing absence of Bam Adebayo (hip), who's already been ruled out of Wednesday's game. Love has averaged over 25 fantasy points on either site in the four games Adebayo has missed with the injury, with the former putting up 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per contest while shooting 58.1 percent, including 48.0 percent from three-point range. The Hornets have given up the eighth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (33.4) and fourth-highest offensive efficiency rating to second-unit players (46.3), and Charlotte is also allowing over 56 fantasy points per game on either site to fives.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jakob Poeltl, TOR vs. ATL- C ($5,500 DK; $6,200 FD)
