The Cut List - Time to Let Go? Who to Drop for Fantasy Football Week 11

Bhayshul Tuten - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Frank's fantasy football players to drop when making waiver wire moves for Week 11 (2025). He helps fantasy football managers decide on who to cut from rosters.

We're now in the stretch run of the fantasy football regular season. Whether you're firmly entrenched in a playoff spot at the top of the standings or if you're fighting tooth-and-nail to get into the postseason, it's always a good idea to think about which players you should cut loose. If you're in a tough spot due to injuries and bye weeks in a must-win game, you may be forced into difficult decisions.

On this page, you're going to read about fringe players who are trending downward, making it the right time to release them from your roster. The focus of this column is on players in 12-team leagues. Remember, none of these decisions is clear-cut. You may find yourself disagreeing with some of the choices. Rostered percentages are courtesy of Yahoo! leagues.

With that in mind, find out why Bhayshul Tuten, Josh Downs, and Kyle Pitts Sr. are the three players on my Week 11 Cut List. You'll also read about why Rachaad White and Jordan Addison are trending down, along with why it's a good idea to hold onto DK Metcalf.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Running Backs to Consider Cutting

Bhayshul Tuten, Jacksonville Jaguars - 31% Rostered

Tuten came into the season as an industry darling. This was a rookie running back who was handpicked by the Jaguars' new front office. Starting running back Travis Etienne was coming off a subpar season, so the opportunity was there for the taking. But that hasn't happened at all, as Etienne has dominated the workload throughout the year.

While Tuten has vultured some touchdowns, he hasn't been impressive at all. This is a first-year player who has barely shown any burst. Tuten's longest run of the season is 11 yards. That's his only 10+ yard run of the year. Not exactly the type of big-play runner that Liam Coen and James Gladstone were looking for.

I understand why many of you have held onto Tuten. The idea is that you have a high-upside stash in case Etienne misses time. But we have to acknowledge the possibility that this would turn into a committee in that scenario. Fellow rookie LeQuint Allen Jr. is playing on passing downs. Given Tuten's underwhelming production so far, it's likely that Allen could factor in if Etienne were out. With that in mind, if you're in a roster crunch, it may be time to cut Tuten.

Others to Consider Cutting:

  • Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs - 70% Rostered
  • Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals - 25% Rostered
  • Ollie Gordon, Miami Dolphins - 10% Rostered

Wide Receivers to Consider Cutting

Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts - 59% Rostered

Downs is another favorite of the fantasy community. This is a big-play threat in the slot. However, despite the Colts' offense becoming one of the most explosive units in football, Downs hasn't had the breakout season that many of us envisioned. This is a wideout who came into Week 10 action averaging only 8.1 fantasy points per game in half-PPR, which ranks as WR48.

Downs hasn't shown much of a ceiling this year, topping out at 13.2 fantasy points. What's worse is that not only has Tyler Warren eaten into Downs' target share, but Alec Pierce has surpassed him as the more dependable fantasy option as well. In other words, we're talking about a receiver who has devolved into the fourth option in his offense.

Considering these circumstances, it's a good idea to cut bait on Downs. At this point, he's more of a name than actual production.

Others to Consider Cutting:

Tight Ends to Consider Cutting

Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta Falcons - 80% Rostered

Pitts has shown flashes this season, putting up 50+ yards in four games. However, there's no reason for him to be rostered in 80% of leagues. The fact is, this hasn't translated into much fantasy production, as Pitts is currently averaging only 8.2 points per game coming into Week 10, which ranks as TE14.

If you took Pitts in best ball, you're happy because you've gotten a profit on his cheap draft cost, but in redraft formats, Pitts is merely a streamer. You don't have to clog your roster with him. The only time to have Pitts is when you're willing to start him in a strong matchup.

Others to Consider Cutting:

Trending (way) Down...

Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 86% Rostered

White is starting to lose work to Sean Tucker because the veteran has been one of the most inefficient runners in the NFL. We've seen Tucker put up nine and 12 carries in the last two games, so perhaps the Bucs are finally starting to see the light.

Even though there is no timetable for Bucky Irving's return, White's value continues to plummet. This is a running back who has put up eight points or fewer in half-PPR formats in three consecutive games. I'd try to trade for Tucker because you can probably get him for super cheap. Don't be surprised if he starts to get more work on early downs.

Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings - 89% Rostered

Addison simply isn't getting it done with J.J. McCarthy under center, combining for five catches for 83 yards since the first-year starter returned to action. McCarthy has been erratic as a passer, so it's hard to trust Addison right now. You can safely leave Addison on your bench until McCarthy starts to show signs of improvement.

The former Michigan standout has been held below 200 passing yards in three of his four starts. Simply put, that's not going to cut it for Addison, especially when you have Justin Jefferson dominating targets. It's a shame because Addison was doing so well with Carson Wentz under center, but that's where we're at right now in Minnesota.

Hold

DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers - 98% Rostered

DK Metcalf has been disappointing fantasy managers this season, putting up seven points or fewer in three of his last four games.

While the production is likely to be volatile in this Arthur Smith offense, we're likely to see a bounce back against the Bengals defense, which is the worst in the NFL. Don't be surprised if that matchup turns into a shootout, just like it did last time.

You may be able to trade for Metcalf at a reduced cost because of his poor recent performance. I'd try to ship Addison for him.
