Jauan Jennings A Dicey Start Given Week 6 Status
Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) is listed as questionable on the team's final depth chart for Week 6. According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, Jennings can be considered a game-time decision. With the 49ers' kickoff scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, fantasy managers considering starting Jennings will be limited on who they can pivot to if the receiver is scratched. Further muddying Jennings' projection is the 49ers' quarterback situation. Brock Purdy (toe) is out, giving way for a fourth Mac Jones (knee, oblique) start. Should Jones' own injuries limit him or prevent him from playing, it will be Adrian Martinez under center for his first regular season action in his career. Assuming he plays and has Jones throwing to him, Jennings can be treated as a WR3/4, but fantasy managers will need to be on guard for updates throughout the weekend.
