Malachi Toney One of College Football's Elite Playmakers
As a true freshman, Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney helped the Hurricanes reach the College Football Playoff National Championship Game with 109 receptions for 1,211 yards and 10 touchdowns. He added 113 yards and one score as a runner. The local Miami product flashed his game-changing ability from Day 1, collecting six receptions for 82 yards and a score in primetime against Notre Dame, and continued to be Carson Beck's go-to receiver all season. Entering Year 2, he'll be catching passes from standout quarterback Darian Mensah and sharing the field with wideout Cooper Barkate. Another monster productive season should be in store for the electric Toney, making him one of the most exciting players to monitor in 2026.
