Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals
With the news that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) will miss at least four more games after being placed on Injured Reserve, veteran signal-caller Jacoby Brissett should have an extended runway as the team's starter.
Since being inserted under center for Arizona in Week 6, the 32-year-old has thrown for 860 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception across three games played. Brissett seems to have given the Cardinals' offense new life, as the team is averaging 25.7 points per game in his starts after averaging 20.6 points per contest with Murray under center. Brissett profiles as a mid-tier fantasy QB2 in a tough Week 10 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
However, Arizona's schedule lightens up a bit after Week 10. If Brissett keeps performing the way he has so far this season, he should provide fantasy managers in two-quarterback formats with consistent starter-level play.
Marcus Mariota, QB, Washington Commanders
With Jayden Daniels (elbow) expected to miss time following a gruesome Week 9 injury, Marcus Mariota is set to take over as the Washington Commanders' starting quarterback for the foreseeable future.
In three starts this season, the veteran has completed 52 of 78 passes (66.7%) for 576 yards, throwing four touchdowns and three interceptions, while adding 102 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Mariota draws a favorable Week 10 matchup against the Detroit Lions, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season.
With his dual-threat ability and favorable matchup, Mariota profiles as a low-end QB2 for Week 10, and potentially beyond if Daniels remains sidelined.
Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Dillon Gabriel,
Bryce Young, QB, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young went 11-for-20 for 102 yards and one interception in the team's 16-13 upset victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 9. After missing last week's game due to an ankle injury, Young logged his worst fantasy performance of the 2025 season this week, registering only 4.0 fantasy points.
The third-year quarterback also recorded the lowest number of passing yards in a game, failing to pass for a touchdown for the first time this season, and had his lowest completion percentage since Week 1 (55%). Despite Young's struggles, the Panthers won this game through strong performances on defense and the running game.
Rico Dowdle scored the Panthers' two touchdowns, while the defense held the Packers to one TD and two field goals. Fantasy players who roster Young in superflex leagues can consider starting him against the Saints in Week 10. New Orleans allowed four TD passes to Matthew Stafford in Week 9.
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence did not have his best day as a passer in his team's 30-29 overtime Week 9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, completing 23 of 34 pass attempts for 220 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception.
However, Lawrence saved his fantasy production by logging 24 yards and two touchdowns on nine rush attempts. Across eight starts this season, the 26-year-old has now thrown for 1,840 yards, nine touchdowns, and six picks.
Davis Mills, QB, Houston Texans
Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills will get the start this weekend for his team's home meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars while teammate C.J. Stroud (concussion) recovers from injury.
Stroud left Week 9's loss to the Denver Broncos with a concussion and has already been ruled out for Sunday's clash with Jacksonville. Houston's offense will take a hit sans Stroud, but the Jaguars are a beatable matchup in the passing game. Through nine weeks, the unit has yielded the sixth-most passing yards per game (249.3) and allowed a bottom-half figure in points (23).
It wouldn't be surprising to see the Texans lean on the ground game more often in this one, leaving Mills better-suited as an asset in super flex/2QB formats.
