Football is back! The preseason has been pretty good so far, but it'll be nothing compared to what the regular season will have in store for us. We're less than a month away from the kickoff game, and fantasy drafts are right around the corner.
If you're playing in multiple leagues, there are always a few players whom you want to draft no matter what. Those players are "your guys," and you are convinced they will dominate and help you win your leagues. In this article, I want to look at two players from every offensive position who are "my guys" in 2025.
Without further ado, let's look at "my guys" for the 2025 fantasy football season. I don't want to sound like a broken record, so I won't include Cowboys duo Dak Prescott and Jake Ferguson (read more about my outlook for them here) and Lions duo Jared Goff and Sam LaPorta, as I predicted them to have an awesome campaign in my 2025 bold predictions article.

Fantasy Football Sleeper, Value Picks: Quarterback
Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers (QB10 ADP)
Sometimes, a random game of football will turn into a significant event that you'll never forget. In Week 14 of the 2022 season, I hoped that my Bucs would finally bounce back after a poor start to the season.

They faced off against the 49ers, who were forced to start the final pick of the 2022 draft, Brock Purdy, due to injuries to Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance.
I was expecting a big win, but to my surprise, Purdy showed poise and remained calm in his first career start and outplayed Tom Brady to win dominantly.
From that moment, I knew Purdy would be something special. Since that fateful night, only six QBs have recorded more fantasy points than 2022's "Mr. Irrelevant" (653.48).
Even in a "cursed" 2024 campaign, Purdy managed to finish as the QB10 in fantasy points per game (18.6). He has a QB10 ADP heading into this year, but we shouldn't forget that last year's QB10 finish was the worst-case scenario for Purdy.
He didn't have Christian McCaffrey for most of the season, and his best WR was Jauan Jennings. Sure, the Niners WR room is still going through an injury crisis. Brandon Aiyuk will likely be out until Week 6, and Jennings is also sidelined indefinitely.
But I'm banking on three things: the resurgence of the offensive line following Trent Williams' return and Dominick Puni's growth, a breakout season for Ricky Pearsall, and the return of CMC.
Pearsall, who missed his first six games following a gunshot wound to the chest, caught 14 of his 18 targets for 210 yards and two touchdowns in his last two games of the year.
By the time Aiyuk comes back, this offense can be unstoppable, and Purdy is capable of putting up top-5 fantasy QB numbers with CMC, George Kittle, and two great receivers around him.
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Atlanta Falcons (QB24 ADP)
Michael Penix Jr. is the Falcons' last great hope. After years of boring seven-to-eight-win seasons following their last playoff appearance in 2017, the Falcons are hoping that Penix is the QB they need to help them finally return to the postseason.
Penix has so much going in his favor heading into his second year: an elite offensive line (ranked eighth by PFF heading into the season), two great wideouts (Drake London and Darnell Mooney) who can both go off for 100 yards in any game, and an excellent RB in Bijan Robinson, who also has great receiving chops.
Also, Zac Robinson is a solid offensive coach who comes from Sean McVay's renowned coaching tree. He got 263.4 yards per game out of a 36-year-old Kirk Cousins before Cousins' arm injury, and is already gushing about Penix's ability.
"You knew he had the arm strength," Robinson said, via the Falcons' website."But then you see it in person and it's next level, like, 'Holy smokes, this is different from stuff we've ever seen.'"
Fantasy Football Sleeper, Value Picks: Running Back
Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints (RB15 ADP)
Yes, Alvin Kamara is 30 and is playing on a terrible Saints roster. However, we must not forget that he was the PPR RB2 last year before suffering a groin injury.

While Devin Neal has all the makings to be a fantasy star in the future (thus making him a perfect dynasty pickup), he's unlikely to steal many touches from Kamara this season.
Kamara signed a two-year, $24.5 million extension with the Saints in October 2024, showing that he's firmly in their plans. New HC Kellen Moore recently said he "wants to utilize every aspect" of Kamara's rushing and receiving ability, and he'll likely be the only Saints player worth drafting in 2025.
Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans (RB28 ADP)
While expecting them to make the playoffs is a little extreme, don't be surprised if the Titans have a good season in 2025. There will be plenty of eyeballs on them due to the 2025 first overall pick, Cameron Ward, and their squad will have to step up to make the team watchable again.
Tony Pollard has put up 1,000 rushing yards in each of the last three seasons and is set to be the team's star man, as the team will rely on him to carry the offense early on and let Ward grow.
Young O-linemen Peter Skoronski and JC Latham will be aided by a new addition in Kevin Zeitler, who is a much-needed veteran presence who has helped Jahmyr Gibbs and Lamar Jackson achieve exceptional rushing success in recent seasons.
Fantasy Football Sleeper, Value Picks: Wide Receiver
Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears (WR36 ADP)
Fantasy managers were disappointed by Rome Odunze last year, but he still showed flashes of his potential. Not every player is like Malik Nabers or Brian Thomas Jr.; most superstar wideouts usually take a year or two before becoming world-class.

Odunze has all the tools to be elite. He can generate yards after the catch (4.8 YAC per reception) while also being an excellent deep threat (14.2 average depth of target and 72.2 contested catch rate).
With new offensive line additions Joe Thuney, Jonah Jackson, and Drew Dalman, Caleb Williams will have all the time in the world to throw deep balls to Odunze.
Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants (WR67 ADP)
Unlike Odunze, Wan'Dale Robinson isn't a "sexy" wide receiver who is going to win many style points. His average depth of target last season was just 5.1, but he got loads of targets, 140 of them to be exact, and only 11 other WRs in the league got more.
It doesn't matter if Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, Jaxson Dart, or Tommy DeVito are playing. They all want a safe pair of hands who can help them take the QB1 job for good, and Robinson is their next best bet after Malik Nabers.
For his WR67 ADP, you could do a whole lot worse than a guy who averaged 10.7 PPR points last year.
Fantasy Football Sleeper, Value Picks: Tight End
Tucker Kraft, TE, Green Bay Packers (TE12 ADP)
Tucker Kraft is poised for an awesome season. Despite a slow start and finish, Kraft finished as the PPR TE10 last year, but his fantasy value has gone down despite his age and potential for an even better third season.

Kraft is notoriously hard to bring down. His 9.3 YAC per target easily led all TEs in the league with 65+ targets last year, while QBs Jordan Love and Malik Willis had a 134.6 passer rating when targeting him, which ranked Kraft third amongst tight ends.
The Packers are currently going through an injury crisis at WR, as Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and Jayden Reed are all dealing with injuries.
If any of them miss time (which is a certainty in Watson's case), it'll open the door for Kraft to be Love's top target ahead of rookie wideout Matthew Golden due to their prior chemistry.
Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Carolina Panthers (TE29 ADP)
I won't stop believing in Ja'Tavion Sanders. As a rookie, Sanders recorded 261 yards and scored a touchdown during a six-game stretch before suffering a neck injury. While he would return from that setback, it bothered him for the rest of the campaign.
Following Tommy Tremble's back surgery, Sanders is expected to be the starter this season and is ready for the challenge.
"The work I've put in over the offseason is definitely showing, so I've definitely got more confidence in myself," Sanders said, via the Panthers' website.
During that aforementioned stretch, QBs Bryce Young and Andy Dalton had a passer rating over 109.0 when they targeted him in four out of six games. The Charlotte Observer's Mike Kaye recently claimed Sanders might be the team's offensive MVP during training camp, citing his near 17-pound weight loss as the reason for his recent growth on the field.
