Tomas Hertl Pots Eighth Career Hat Trick In Big Win
Vegas Golden Knights forward Tomas Hertl provided half of the goals as the team cruised past the Detroit Red Wings 6-3 on Saturday. He scored twice on the power play and celebrated his eighth career hat trick. Only two weeks have passed since Hertl's last three-goal game. However, he strangely didn't light the lamp in any of the five games between his two hat tricks. Hertl has been among the NHL's top forwards since the turn of the year, totaling 20 goals and 33 points over his last 30 appearances. This has helped him secure his third 30-goal season. Overall, Hertl has recorded 58 points (30 goals, 28 assists) in 69 contests.
