Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is coming off of his strongest passing game of the 2025 campaign so far, throwing for three touchdowns and setting a new season-high with 326 yards. Two of those scores came from A.J. Brown, who will miss Sunday's matchup against the Giants with a hamstring injury, but New York allows the sixth-most fantasy points to QBs. When these teams met just two weeks ago, Hurts managed two total touchdowns despite a Philly loss. Now, expect the Eagles to be fired up for revenge against their division rivals-this time with home-field advantage. Hurts should be considered a high-end QB1 in Week 8.--Ricky Maloney - RotoBaller

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker will play in just his second game this season after returning from a quad injury last week. In his last game, he was targeted twice but had no receptions. Fantasy players will have to wait and see if he gets more involved in the offense in Week 8 against Buffalo. Coker was considered to be a potential sleeper in the preseason, and the door is still open for him to become a quality contributor for Carolina. Either Coker or Xavier Legette can potentially emerge as a reliable complement to Tetairoa McMillan. Do not start the second-year receiver this week against Buffalo, as it's better to monitor his performance. Coker showed promise last year with 14.9 yards per reception, so fantasy leaguers who are patient with him might eventually be rewarded. For now, make room for him on your bench.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette is coming off the best fantasy performance of his career last week against the New York Jets. The second-year wide receiver had nine catches for 92 receiving yards with one touchdown reception. He has experience working with Andy Dalton, catching two touchdowns in a three-game span from him in Weeks 4-6 last year. Fantasy players may be wondering if Legette can build on last week's performance or if it was just an outlier. If Buffalo gains a sizable lead, Legette could potentially boost his numbers as Carolina works from behind. Considering that there are six teams on bye for Week 8, Legette is worth a look as a streaming option, even though he has more to prove. Buffalo's defense ranks 15th in fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the last four weeks, so he is not facing a shutdown pass defense.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo is hopeful for a bounce back game after posting a dud last week. In Week 7, Okonkwo gave fantasy managers nothing as he failed to haul in either of his targets in the loss to the New England Patriots. Before that, Okonkwo hauled in six receptions against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6. That being said, this game could've been a fluke, but Okonkwo hasn't been a great option regardless. At best, Okonkwo should be viewed as a TE2 for the upcoming matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.--Andy Webb

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chimere Dike came out of nowhere and posted a solid game against the New England Patriots last week. Before that game, Dike was held to two receptions or less and 17 or fewer receiving yards in every game. The rookie wideout hauled in all four of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The Titans are once again going to be without top receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) this weekend. That means, Dike figures to have an increased role against the Indianapolis Colts. Possibly, Dike was a one-hit wonder, but he could offer flex appeal in certain formats this weekend.--Andy Webb

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor will once again be asked to step up with this offense shorthanded this weekend. Top wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) has been ruled out and will miss his second straight game. Last week, Ayomanor struggled as he hauled in two of his five targets for 29 yards in the loss to the New England Patriots. The rookie wideout has failed to surpass 30 receiving yards in each of the last three games. The playing time will be there, but nothing seems to be going right for this Titans offense at the moment. Ayomanor might be able to offer flex value in PPR formats for the Week 8 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.--Andy Webb

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears has seen a fairly minimal role since returning to the field in Week 5. Over the last two games, Spears has rushed 10 times for 53 yards and has been held out of the end zone. It might not seem great on paper, but Spears registered 6.2 and 4.4 yards per carry during those two games. The biggest problem is that he's stuck behind Tony Pollard on the depth chart. At the moment, Spears is doing a better job rushing the ball, so hopefully he'll get more carries going forward. It's also worth noting, Spears has seven receptions over his last two games, so he's getting chances in the receiving game as well. As mentioned, Pollard is the lead back, so Spears probably won't offer anything more than flex value during the Week 8 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.--Andy Webb

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan will be looking to get more involved in the flow of the passing game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. In terms of receptions and yardage, McMillan has not been productive over the last two weeks, totaling 62 yards on six catches. However, in Week 6, he did reward those who started him in fantasy football with two touchdown receptions. McMillan needs to click with quarterback Andy Dalton if the Panthers hope to stay close with the Bills. If Buffalo races away with the lead, though, McMillan could pad his numbers in catch-up mode. The matchup is not daunting, as the Bills rank 15th in fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past four weeks (30.3). Continue to start McMillan as you normally would as a fantasy WR2/3. While the numbers have been disappointing recently, he is capable of showing his upside in any given week.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard has struggled to find much success on the ground over the last few weeks. Last week, Pollard rushed a season-low six times for 18 yards in the loss to the New England Patriots. The 28-year-old was able to salvage his fantasy value by hauling in six receptions for an additional 43 yards through the air. The biggest problem Pollard is going to face now is that he'll split up the carries with Tyjae Spears in the backfield. Pollard has seen his carries decrease every game since Week 5. Luckily, Pollard has been able to find some success in the receiving game. He'll likely be asked to continue being utilized in that role with top wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) out again in Week 8. Given his recent performances, Pollard shouldn't be viewed as again more than a flex option against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend.--Andy Webb

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cameron Ward has been playing better lately, but is still off to a slow start to his rookie campaign. Over the last three games, Ward has thrown for over 220 yards in each of those contests. The biggest problem is that Ward has thrown an interception in each of the last five contests. The 23-year-old is also missing his top wide receiver in Calvin Ridley (hamstring) again this weekend. It's hard to imagine Ward having much success against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. Due to bye weeks, fantasy managers might have no choice but to start Ward. However, he should be viewed as a low-end option.--Andy Webb

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (hamstring/rest) was limited at practice on Thursday, but does not have an injury designation coming into Week 8's matchup with the Falcons. The Falcons have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, and the Dolphins' passing game has struggled badly under Tua Tagovailoa. Waddle only had one catch for 15 yards in his worst showing of the season last week against the Browns, but before that, he did have two strong games after the season-ending injury to Tyreek Hill (knee). Waddle has upside as the team's top target, but he is a very shaky play with the matchup and his team's struggles. Even with six teams on a bye week, Waddle is the No. 23 wide receiver in RotoBaller's rankings, making him a shaky start in most formats in this tough road matchup.--Zach Thompson

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard is worth lineup consideration against the Bills in Week 8. Buffalo's run defense surrendered 46.6 fantasy points against running backs in the last two weeks. The Bills allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs of all NFL teams across that period. Hubbard will be part of a running back timeshare alongside Rico Dowdle, as head coach Dave Canales mentioned earlier in the week. The former fourth-round pick's snap count exceeded Dowdle's all season, including last week's game, where he played on 54% of snaps. Even though Hubbard played on more snaps, on the ground, Dowdle was the better runner with 79 rushing yards over Hubbard's 31 yards. As long as the game remains competitive, Hubbard will contribute to the running game in this matchup. Considering that six teams are on bye for Week 8, Hubbard is a low-end RB2 or Flex start.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle is in line for a potentially favorable matchup in Week 8 against the Bills. Over the last four weeks, Buffalo ranked 30th in fantasy points per game allowed to running backs. The Bills have a vulnerable run defense, allowing 31.1 fantasy points per game to RBs during that span. Expect Carolina to rely on their running game in Week 8 to stay in the game. Head coach Dave Canales mentioned that the workload between Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard will be split between the two running backs this week. Last week, Dowdle had a snap share of 46% compared to Hubbard, with 54%. Despite Hubbard having the advantage in snaps, Dowdle outrushed him 79 to 31 rushing yards. If the Panthers don't fall far behind, the running game can be productive because of the matchup. With six teams on a bye in fantasy football Week 8, lock Dowdle in as an RB2 start.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson bounced back in Week 7 against the Bears, catching five passes for 79 yards on seven targets. His receptions and targets were his most since Week 3 against the Seahawks. Johnson's drop-off in opportunities has coincided with Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau returning to the rotation, and that trend is likely to continue moving forward. Johnson dealt with a neck injury in practice this week, but is healthy and ready to go for Week 8 against the Buccaneers. He remains a touchdown-dependent, boom-or-bust fantasy option in the divisional matchup.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (knee) has practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday after missing practice on Wednesday. He is officially listed as questionable with a knee injury heading into a Week 8 road matchup against the New England Patriots. If he ultimately ends up playing, Jeudy will look to break a season-long cold streak as he has yet to go over 51 receiving yards since Week 1. The Patriots have struggled against receivers this season, allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the position. If Jeudy ends up playing, he would settle in as a low-end WR4 in fantasy leagues. If he sits, look for Isaiah Bond, Jamari Thrash, and maybe even Malachi Corley to see extra opportunities for the Cleveland passing offense.--Matt Terelle
