Dallas Stars forward Matt Duchene (upper body) was injured in Tuesday's 5-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild. Duchene exited the action in the third period after receiving a hit from Wild defenseman Jake Middleton. The team plans to evaluate Duchene on Wednesday. Before leaving the contest, Duchene scored a power-play goal, which ended up as the game-winning tally. It was his first goal of the season, and the 34-year-old has also registered one assist through three games this season. Radek Faksa, who also scored in Tuesday's win, may see more ice time if Duchene has to skip some games, while Adam Erne could step into the lineup as his replacement.--Taavi Pailk
