Joshua Van is scheduled for his first title defense against challenger Tatsuro Taira in the co-main event of UFC 328 on Saturday. Given the strange nature of how Van captured his title, many still think that he has to establish himself as champion. Van won his flyweight title at UFC 323 in just 26 seconds when Alexandre Pantoja dislocated his elbow after Van shoved him to the ground.
