Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen proved unbeatable against the Washington Capitals on Saturday night, backstopping his squad to a 4-0 victory with a 21-save shutout. Andersen has been top-class in these playoffs, and his best performance yet came at a crucial time, helping Carolina take a 2-1 lead in the second-round series. He became the 10th goaltender in NHL history to register a postseason shutout with three different franchises. Andersen has allowed only 1.32 goals with a .940 save percentage in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, boasting a record of 5-2.
