Of course, every fantasy manager knows about the top prospects like Konnor Griffin and Nolan McLean. These four prospects are certainly worth a look at their ADP because they are all practically free in drafts.

Owen Caissie, OF, Miami Marlins
The Miami Marlins made a big move this offseason to trade away up-and-coming pitcher Edward Cabrera to the Chicago Cubs. In return, the Marlins got MLB Pipeline's No. 42 overall prospect in Owen Caissie. Caissie was Chicago's top prospect and comes into the 2026 season as the Marlins' No. 3 prospect in the organization.
Caissie will have every opportunity to earn the starting right field job out of spring training. It's really his spot to lose over the next few weeks. He is a big part of Miami's future and has the potential to post solid numbers in his first full season in the majors. This is a player who tore it up at the Triple-A level in each of the past two seasons.
He hit .278 with 19 home runs, 75 RBI, and 11 stolen bases across 127 Triple-A games in 2024 and batted .286 with 22 home runs, 55 RBI, and seven stolen bases across 99 Triple-A games in 2025. During his 99 games in the minors last year, Caissie ranked in the 90th percentile or better in xwOBA (.379), expected slugging (.514), barrel rate (16.9%), and hard-hit rate (53.2%).

Although Caissie did struggle a bit once he was called up to the majors in mid-August, he did show some good things in his limited plate appearances. He had a 13.3% barrel rate to go with a 74.8 mph bat speed. Those two things are why the Marlins prospect should be on your radar in 2026 fantasy baseball drafts.
He should have an everyday role in Miami's lineup and has the potential to be a strong fantasy asset this year. Caissie could easily hit over 15 home runs with a .240 batting average and upward of 60 RBI and 60 runs scored. Those are solid numbers for a prospect who has an ADP outside the top-300 in all formats.
Justin Crawford, OF, Philadelphia Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Justin Crawford is one of the most interesting prospects in baseball. Like Caissie, Crawford is set to compete for a starting outfielder job this spring. After the Phillies moved on from Nick Castellanos a few weeks ago, MLB Pipeline's No. 53 overall prospect has the inside track at winning that center field job.
Therefore, Crawford is a sleeper to select in the later rounds of fantasy baseball drafts. If you are in need of some batting average boost or stolen base numbers at the end of your drafts, the Phillies' No. 3 prospect might be the perfect pick to round out your roster. The 22-year-old should put up above-average numbers in both of those categories in his first season in the big leagues.
The high batting average and stolen base numbers have been on display in each of his past three minor league campaigns. He hit .332 with 47 stolen bases in 2023, batted .313 with 41 stolen bases in 2024, and hit .334 with 46 stolen bases across 112 games at Triple-A in 2025. With an 86th percentile expected batting average and a 92nd percentile speed last season, Crawford is a nice target in fantasy drafts.

He has a current ADP outside the top 275 in NFBC drafts. While he won't contribute much in the home run or RBI departments, he will maintain a high batting average throughout the year to go with upward of 30 stolen bases. ZiPS projects Crawford to finish with a .286 batting average and 29 stolen bases across 529 plate appearances this season.
Emmanuel Rodriguez, OF, Minnesota Twins
It remains to be seen if Minnesota Twins prospect will make the Opening Day roster, but he is someone that fantasy managers should be stashing if the Twins decide to keep him in Triple-A to start the season. MLB Pipeline's No. 74 overall prospect has the upside to be one of the best rookies this year.
The biggest thing that has held Rodriguez back in recent years has been injuries. He dealt with a thumb injury that limited him to 47 games in 2024 and missed time due to both a hip and an oblique injury last season. Those injuries forced the Twins' No. 4 prospect to play in just 65 games across Rookie ball, Single-A, and Triple-A in 2025.
When Rodriguez has been on the field, though, he has shown his offensive upside. He slashed .280/.459/.567 with nine home runs, 14 doubles, 27 RBI, 51 walks, and nine stolen bases in 2024 and slashed .269/.431/.409 with six home runs, nine doubles, 31 RBI, 55 walks, and 10 stolen bases in 2025. The 22-year-old also showed he can handle Triple-A pitching last season by hitting .258 with 14 extra-base hits across 163 at-bats.
Rodriguez was impressive in his limited Triple-A plate appearances last year. He ranked in the 75th percentile or better in xwOBA (.354), average exit velocity (90.1 mph), barrel rate (12.5%), hard-hit rate (46.9%), and walk rate (15.9%). He's an extremely patient hitter at the plate with above-average power.
So, Rodriguez is worth grabbing with your last pick. Fantasy managers should be keeping a close eye on him over the next few weeks. He is fighting for a roster spot this spring and is currently off to a strong start. The lefty slugger has a home run in two of his first three spring training games this year.

Walker Jenkins, OF, Minnesota Twins
The future is also bright for another Minnesota Twins prospect, Walker Jenkins. He was selected fifth overall in the 2023 MLB Draft and has flashed his upside throughout his minor league career. Although a few injuries have held him back in each of the past two years, Jenkins has the potential to be an excellent big leaguer. He hits the ball well, has some power, and can steal bases at a high level.
MLB Pipeline's No. 8 overall prospect has shown that in back-to-back minor league seasons. He hit .282 with six home runs, 22 doubles, 58 RBI, and 17 stolen bases across 82 games in 2024 and batted .286 with 10 home runs, 17 doubles, 34 RBI, and 17 stolen bases across 84 games in 2025. Both of those seasons saw Jenkins post solid all-around numbers.
However, Jenkins will likely not make the Twins' Opening Day roster this year. He only saw 91 at-bats against Triple-A pitching last year and only batted .242 with two home runs and eight RBI in those limited at-bats. Minnesota probably wants him to get more reps in Triple-A before giving him a shot in the big leagues, especially since his strikeout rate (26%) in those 101 plate appearances was a bit high.
Still, Jenkins is someone to consider stashing in all fantasy leagues. He has a compelling fantasy game and can contribute solid numbers across several categories. Since the 21-year-old will make his major league debut at some point in 2026, MLB Pipeline's No. 14 overall prospect is worth holding in the early part of the season.
