J.T. Miller Joins Team for Road Trip
New York Rangers forward J.T. Miller (upper body) is traveling with the team for a brief two-game road trip, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports. The Rangers captain has missed a pair of games due to an upper-body injury. However, the fact that Miller is with the team for the road team suggests he may be ready to return in the next couple of games. Mike Sullivan's team faces Carolina on Wednesday night before taking on Boston on Friday. Miller has had a disappointing campaign with the Rangers, scoring six goals and 12 points in 22 games while going minus-seven. During Miller's absence, Jonny Brodzinski has had increased fantasy value as a top-six member, collecting an assist in Monday's 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues.
