Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups - Top Fantasy Football WR Adds for Week 11 are Alec Pierce, Tez Johnson, Mack Hollins, Jalen Nailor, more

Darnell Mooney - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Alex's fantasy football WR waiver wire pickups for Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season. Free agent wide receivers to add, stream, and stash off waivers.

Howdy, RotoBallers, and welcome back to another edition of fantasy football wide receiver waiver wire pickups -- Week 11. It feels like just yesterday that we were gearing up for the beginning of the season. Now, we're up to our armpits in data and officially past the year's mid-way point -- steadily encroaching the fantasy playoffs.

A few weeks back, I noted a passing dip in this campaign. With more games in the sample, it's abundantly clear we're on the downslope in that regard. Heading into Week 10, teams averaged 214.6 passing yards per game. That's three full yards fewer per game than in 2024, and down 26 from 2020. If passing games feel rough in 2025, that's because they are.

Fortunately, there are still a few players worth adding if you're in need of replacements. The assets below are unowned in more than 50% of leagues, and, as always, are listed in priority order. Be sure to consult your league's scoring before submitting a claim, and don't miss RotoBaller's other waiver wire articles ahead of Week 11. Happy hunting!

Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts - 42% rostered

This may be the last week I get to reference Pierce in this feature, as he continues to produce in a high-powered, Daniel Jones-led Colts' offense. I'm sure that was as strange to read as it was for me to type, but that's football in 2025.

Pierce was impactful yet again in Week 10, racking up four catches (eight targets), 84 yards, and his first touchdown of the campaign. All of his receiving figures placed second on the team behind rookie tight end Tyler Warren. Still, Jones looked his way when he wanted a big play.

I don't believe Pierce will fully succeed teammate Michael Pittman Jr. in the Colts' pecking order. I do think it's notable he out-snapped Pittman Jr. by a wide margin on Sunday (11), marking the first instance he's done so this season. Moreover, Pierce has led the duo in targets in three of their previous four outings.

The 25-year-old is second in the NFL in yards per reception (20.9) and is making a strong case for (low-end) WR2 consideration.

Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 32% rostered

For the two weeks leading up to the Buccaneers' bye week, rookie Tez Johnson appeared to be overtaking veteran Sterling Shepard in their passing game hierarchy. In Week 10, that came to fruition.

The seventh-round pick of April's draft was a distant third in targets during Sunday's loss to the Patriots (Emeka Egbuka, Cade Otton), but currently boasts a top-ten fantasy finish at his position. Johnson scored twice in Week 10, hauling in 4-of-5 targets for 42 yards. He's up to four scores in as many games, while recording at least four catches in four of his last five outings.

Tampa Bay's offense is due for a shift, as running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) and WR Chris Godwin (leg) are expected to return eventually. Godwin is a bigger threat to Johnson's production, but may still be a few weeks away from suiting up. Until then, he's a nice fill-in WR3 with TD upside.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars - 41% rostered

With Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) battling an injury, Washington led all Jaguars' wideouts in snaps for the third consecutive game. He was a big part of the team's early lead, punching in two touchdowns, including one on special teams. Thirty-three yards were all he could muster on 3-of-7 passes. His receiving score, however, was a thing of beauty.

Washington is a baller, but his situation isn't as cut-and-dry as it was earlier in the week, gaining volatility through the team's acquisition of ex-Raiders' wide receiver Jakobi Meyers. Despite the former out-snapping the latter 47-23 in this one, Meyers tied him for the team lead in catches, and out-gained him by eight.

If Thomas Jr. misses another appearance in Week 11, fantasy managers can toss the third-year pro into their lineups again as a solid PPR option. His production will take a hit when Thomas Jr. returns, and more so when Meyers becomes acclimated to the offense, but he should be useful until then.

Jayden Higgins, Houston Texans - 14% rostered

No C.J. Stroud? No problem for the Texans as QB Davis Mills led the team to a 36-29 victory over the Jaguars despite a 19-point fourth-quarter deficit. It's unclear which team speaks more to. Either way, it was fun to watch Houston air it out sans Stroud. Mills was passable and got first-year pro Higgins going after a one-catch effort in Week 9.

Higgins was much more productive on Sunday, compiling personal-bests in receptions (five) and yards (42), while corraling his third TD of the campaign. I'll admit I had my money on his former college teammate, Jaylin Noel, emerging first, but the latter isn't playing nearly as many snaps.

Speaking of, the snap distribution in Houston's WR room has been a jumbled mess. The 22-year-old earned a greater share than teammate Xavier Hutchinson on Sunday, which is noteworthy. That's the second occasion since Week 8, and the first while all the Texans' wideouts were active.

I expect Higgins' production to remain inconsistent for a bit, although he's trending in the right direction. He may not have a ton of long speed, but he snaps off his stem with devastating explosiveness, particularly on slants and other in-breaking routes.

Tyler Lockett, Las Vegas Raiders - 1% rostered

Lockett nearly doubled his snap share in his second appearance as a Raider on Thursday, pulling in 5-of-6 targets for 44 yards. All of those marks were team-bests on a night when quarterback Geno Smith totaled a dreary 143 passing yards. I'm not expecting huge things from Lockett, but his familiarity with Smith should pay dividends.

Former Raiders' wideout Meyers tailed off toward the end of his tenure with the team, though his vacancy undoubtedly opens up targets for the taking. Lockett will get an opportunity, considering no one else in the corps has really separated themselves from the pack.

Head coach Pete Carroll obviously loves him, and his built-in chemistry with his (old) new QB is a plus. At the same time, the veteran doesn't figure to have much ceiling. He may be interesting as a low-end PPR play, but probably shouldn't be considered outside such formats.

Deeper Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Pickups

Mack Hollins, New England Patriots - 0% rostered

I very wrongly listed DeMario Douglas here in last week's feature, assuming that if teammate Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) were forced to miss a contest, he'd be the beneficiary of the vacated targets. That wasn't the case, as Hollins occupied that role in the win over the Buccaneers. It could flip-flop again in Week 11, but there are reasons to believe Hollins is the safer play for now.

The 32-year-old racked up his most targets of the season on Sunday (ten), reeling in six of them for 106 yards. It was his first 100-yard effort and outing with a double-digit target total since Week 3 of 2022 (158).

Even though Hollins had cleared a 65% snap share heading into Week 10 just twice, he's second on the team behind only Boutte in playing time. Additionally, rookie Kyle Williams has played ahead of Douglas in each of their last two games, raising questions about who is the preferred option.

The most likely scenario is that the Hollins' workload dips when Boutte is healthy. Still, the latter didn't practice at all last week, and hamstring injuries can linger. Furthermore, Hollins now has at least six receptions and 89 yards in two of his previous three appearances. The deep targets were nice, and Drake Maye is playing out of his mind. We want pieces of this offense.

Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons - 32% rostered

Fans in Berlin, Germany, were gifted free football on Sunday morning as the Falcons and the Colts lit up the scoreboard overseas. Atlanta has been one of the more puzzling teams. That proved true again in their 31-25 loss to Indianapolis. Even still, sixth-year pro Mooney showed some signs of life, and he's on the waiver-wire radar despite a one-catch, 17-yard outing.

What we're really after here are the targets. The 28-year-old garnered eight of them on Sunday, tying running mate Drake London for the most by any Falcon. Mooney actually worked open quite often in a tough matchup, but Michael Penix Jr. missed him on at least three throws. Otherwise, his box score would be much more enticing.

Mooney isn't someone I'd be starting with the utmost confidence next week, though he's at least an intriguing stash in case this passing offense finds its groove down the stretch. We're not even a year removed from the Alabama native posting a solid 64/992/5 line, but the floor is frightening.

I'm still betting on Penix Jr. figuring it out, and Mooney fits in as a nice third option alongside London and Kyle Pitts Sr.

Jalen Nailor, Minnesota Vikings - 1% rostered

I want to preface this excerpt by saying that Nailor's output in Week 10 seems largely like a mirage. That said, it's hard to ignore the monster performance.

Nailor went off in Minnesota's 27-19 loss to the Ravens, boasting career-highs across the board with 124 yards and a touchdown on 5-of-6 receiving. The Michigan State alum shook free for a long catch-and-run of 62 yards early on that almost turned into another touchdown. The one that counted was a sweet toe-dragging snag in the back of the end zone.

Even with his outburst, Nailor tied for third (Aaron Jones Sr.) in looks, failing to reach double-digits, unlike teammates Jordan Addison (11) and Justin Jefferson (12). The fourth-year pro is an underrated NFL wideout and has done well when earning more work in a teammate's absence. If tight end T.J. Hockenson is ever completely phased out, Nailor immediately becomes more viable.

As noted above, I'm skeptical. Favorably, Minnesota entered Week 10 ranking fourth in pass frequency (61.54%) and fifth in 11 personnel utilization (69.93%). J.J. McCarthy has flashed. If he ever puts it all together, look out.
