Elic Ayomanor Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 27% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in standard leagues
The Titans' offense has been one of the worst in the league, and their coach was fired largely as a result. Brian Callahan was replaced by interim coach Mike McCoy, who is planning to "simplify the offense" for rookie QB Cam Ward.
In McCoy's first week, Ward also had to deal with the absence of top receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring), who missed his first game of the year in Week 7. Ridley is a trade candidate as well, so even when he returns, he may not be part of the team's target share for very long.
After the Titans drafted Ward, they also drafted young playmakers to go around him. Ayomanor was taken in the fourth round out of Stanford, and he established himself as the team's second receiver behind Ridley with a strong training camp and preseason.
Ayomanor started the season strong as well, drawing seven targets in his NFL debut and then posting back-to-back games with four catches and a touchdown in Week 2 and Week 3.

He trailed off a little bit since then, though, with only two catches in three of his last four games. He still has multiple catches in every contest, but hasn't been able to put together a big total quite yet.
In Week 7, without Ridley, Aynomanor played 96% of the offensive snaps against the Patriots. He only had two catches for 29 yards, though, in a disappointing showing for the rookie.
Even though he hasn't had his one huge game yet or established himself as Ward's go-to, he's getting the volume and the reps needed to be a part of the solution for Ward and McCoy. Ward has had some highlight-reel plays, but the consistency (and the pass protection) hasn't been there.
The Titans have a great matchup against the Colts in Week 8, who have given up more fantasy points to wide receivers than any other team in the NFL. Ayomanor had four catches for 38 yards and a score in their first meeting. If Ridley is out again, he will be a strong option to add if you need to go with a flier fill-in this week, with six teams on a bye week and so many significant injuries around the league.
Looking further ahead, the Titans will give their young receivers all the opportunities they can to step up, and I think he could be a sneaky play as a busy part of the offense, especially if Ridley gets traded.
Chimere Dike Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 2% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12+ Team standard Leagues
Just 33 picks before they selected Ayomanor, the Titans selected Dike from Florida at the front end of the fourth round. Ayomanor earned a bigger role early, but Dike is another receiver with a lot of promise who could help Ward turn the corner as a regular contributor.
Dike was an impressive return specialist and is now working into the offense more as well. He only played 10 snaps in Week 1 but has seen his snap share rise over the last few weeks, playing a season-high 57% of snaps in Week 7 with Ridley sidelined.
In the first six weeks of the season, Dike only had nine catches for just 26 yards. In Week 7, though, he impressed by catching all four of his targets for 70 yards, including this 38-yard touchdown, which was the Titans' only touchdown of the day.

Dike has big-time speed and elusiveness, but he is still a little raw as a route-runner and is working his way into the offense. His role isn't as established as Ayomanor's, making him higher risk at this point. He is still worth a look, though, after flashing his big-play upside for an offense desperately seeking playmakers.
Chris Moore Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 3% of Leagues
Baller Move: Monitor Commanders' receivers and add Moore if starting
The final wide receiver in this trio of pass-catchers is on the opposite end of his career from the two Titans' rookies. Moore was drafted in the fourth round as well, but it was the fourth round all the way back in 2016. Moore has had impressive staying power, though, especially compared to the first-round receivers that year, who were Corey Coleman, Will Fuller, Josh Doctson, and Laquon Treadwell.
Moore has bounced around the last few years, but has found a home this season with the Washington Commanders. The Commanders lost Terry McLaurin (groin/quad), Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel), and Noah Brown (groin/knee) to injury, so they've had to dig deep on the depth chart the last two weeks.
Moore came through with three catches for 46 yards and a touchdown against the Bears and three more catches for 49 yards against the Cowboys over the last two weeks, while playing 68% and 79% of snaps, respectively. He's shown he still has the afterburners to make big plays even with some miles on the tires.

The Commanders play on Monday Night Football once again in Week 8, this time against the Chiefs. The whole team is banged up, with Samuel and McLaurin uncertain and QB Jayden Daniels (hamstring) hurting as well. It's a messy situation, but if there is an opportunity that becomes available, Moore has shown that he can rise to the occasion.
