Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups - Ryan Flournoy, Jordan Whittington, Jalen Coker Fantasy Football Outlooks

Ryan Flournoy - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Week 7 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Ryan Flournoy, Jordan Whittington, Jalen Coker in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

Wide receiver is one of the most volatile positions from one week to another, as different options step into larger roles and post big games. Looking ahead to Week 7, there are a few long-shot receivers who can be speculative pickups.

The three receivers in this post are all in changing situations, but bring lots of upside if things lean in their favor for the next few weeks. With bye weeks over the next several weeks and injuries continuing to mount, you'll want all the depth you can carry on your roster.

So, should you pick up Ryan Flournoy, Jordan Whittington, or Jalen Coker in your fantasy football leagues for Week 7 of 2025? Let's dive in.

Ryan Flournoy Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 5% of Leagues

Baller Move: Potentially add in deep leagues

The Cowboys have been without CeeDee Lamb (ankle) for the last three weeks and KaVontae Turpin (foot) for the past two weeks. Even without those pass-catchers, the Cowboys continue to throw the ball with lots of volume. Dak Prescott has averaged 38 pass attempts per game and 269.5 yards per game, creating plenty of production in the passing game.

Without Turpin and Lamb, Flournoy stepped up to help fill in with a huge game in Week 5. George Pickens was locked down by Sauce Gardner in that matchup, and Flournoy went off for a career-high six catches for 114 yards.

In Week 6, he didn't have quite as much production, as Pickens went off on the other side of the field. Flournoy still finished with three catches for 30 yards, giving him multiple catches in four straight games.

The second-year receiver was a sixth-round pick in 2024 but only produced 10 catches for 102 yards as a rookie. In a bigger role, he has shown more potential this year. His potential could be capped when Lamb and Turpin return, but he seems to be working ahead of Jalen Tolbert and could remain the No. 3 receiver in this high-volume passing offense.

He's a solid stash looking down the road if Lamb or Pickens is down again, or if you need an option short-term before Lamb returns.

Jordan Whittington Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 0% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in Deep Leagues

One of the most significant receiver injuries to occur in Week 6 was when Puka Nacua (ankle) rolled his ankle while knocking down a pass in the end zone against the Ravens. Nacua is a target magnet, so if he misses any time, more work will be available for many other receivers to grab in the Rams' high-volume passing game.

While Davante Adams will likely step up as the No. 1 option, Tutu Atwell and Whittington could also be set for more production. However, Atwell is still working through a hamstring issue, which kept him out of Week 6. With Atwell out and Nacua leaving early, Whittington played a massive 92% of snaps in Week 6.

When head coach Sean McVay was asked who would replace Nacua's production, he said, "I love Jordan Whittington, what he's about... He did a good job.” He ended up with a season-high three catches on four targets for 23 yards.

Last year as a rookie, Whittington stepped up and caught 13 of 18 targets for 151 yards in two weeks while both Nacua and Cooper Kupp were sidelined. This year, he has progressed throughout the season into a larger role and looks set to be the team's second receiver while Nacua is out.

The Rams take on the Jaguars in London before their Week 8 bye, and it would be a surprise if the Rams don't play it safe and keep Nacua out at least a week. Whittington should be primed for at least a one-week spike, making him a solid "Hail Mary" play off the waiver wire this week.

Jalen Coker Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 12% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add for depth in standard leagues

The final wide receiver in this post isn't stepping up due to other injuries on his team, but instead, he's returning from an injury of his own. Coker seemed to have locked down the second receiver spot for the Panthers, especially after the trade of Adam Thielen to Minnesota. However, just before the season began, he was shelved by a quad injury that landed him on IR.

He has not returned even though he has been eligible the last few weeks, but coach Dave Canales said he is close to returning.

This week, the Panthers face the Jets before games against the Bills, Packers, Saints, and Falcons the next four weeks. Their bye week isn't until Week 14, so if you need bye week help before then, Coker is a possible solution to consider.

As an undrafted rookie last year, Coker had 32 catches on 46 targets for 478 yards and two touchdowns. He had one game with over 100 receiving yards and drew at least six targets in four of his last seven games. He finished the year with a season-high seven catches in the finale against the Falcons.

He had a very strong preseason and training camp, and he'll look to re-establish himself as a key piece in the Panthers' passing attack and a favorite target of Bryce Young once he is able to return. He has viability as a flex play as soon as he's healthy, especially this week if Gardner focuses on shutting down Tetairoa McMillan, forcing Young to lean on Coker and the rest of the receiving group.

At this point, he's still a speculative addition since he has yet to play this season. However, in deep leagues, the three WRs featured in this article each bring their own pros and cons. Since his playing time isn't reliant on the status of a star receiver in front of him, he's actually the lowest risk of these three if the help you're looking for isn't immediate.
