The top Week 5 Wide Receiver streamers, fantasy football pickups and WR starts for 2025. Target these fantasy wr streaming options with strong Week 5 matchups.
Welcome to our Week 5 wide receiver streamers for fantasy football - some of our favorite WR options to pickup and start for your fantasy lineups.
Through the first four games of the season, many fantasy managers have likely been disappointed by their top wide receivers, unless they drafted Puka Nacua or Amon-Ra St. Brown. Several high-end options like Ja'Marr Chase, Brian Thomas Jr., A.J. Brown, or Ladd McConkey have not lived up to their draft capital and have encouraged managers to look for potential streaming options.
So which wide receivers should fantasy managers look to stream in Week 5? Let's dive in!

Top Wide Receiver Streamers for Week 5
Only players rostered in fewer than 60% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.
Elic Ayomanor (TEN) @ Arizona Cardinals
35% Rostered
With Calvin Ridley's early-season struggles and his questionable tag, Elic Ayomanor enters this contest facing the Cardinals as a top streaming option. In fact, through the opening month, one can argue that the rookie wideout has been the team's top wideout, and not the veteran Ridley.
Through his first four games in the NFL, the young wideout has seen at least six targets in all but one game. However, he has only caught 12 total passes, which have led to his inefficient showings. Despite this, he has still found the back of the end zone twice, and he should remain Cam Ward's top target against the Arizona secondary, which has allowed the 12th-most PPR points to opposing WRs.

Darius Slayton (NYG) @ New Orleans Saints
40% Rostered
Following a similar trend, Darius Slayton could be poised to see a larger role in the New York wide receiver room with Malik Nabers (knee) out for the season. In fact, Slayton immediately made a connection with rookie QB Jaxson Dart in his first career start last weekend, as Slayton led the team in receiving yards.
While Wan'Dale Robinson figures to be the primary slot option, Slayton will be the downfield threat, which will give him a very high ceiling going forward. If Dart can continue to develop off his promising debut, Slayton could enter must-start FLEX territory for the remainder of the season.
This weekend, he is an intriguing WR3 option facing a New Orleans secondary that enters this game with a 0-4 record.

Jalen Tolbert (DAL) @ New York Jets
15% Rostered
Jalen Tolbert has taken over a starting role in Dallas with CeeDee Lamb (ankle) sidelined. In his first game as the No. 2 option, Tolbert caught four of his six targets for 61 yards. While he is the No. 2 option behind George Pickens, Tolbert has enough targets to be a WR3 territory this weekend.
In week 5, the Cowboys will face the New York Jets, who have struggled to defend the pass at times this season, allowing the 16th-most PPR points to opposing WRs. Given Dallas's weak defense, the Jets could be in a position to score points, which will force the Cowboys to play catch-up through the air, setting Tolbert up for a positive game script.
Isaiah Bond (CLE) vs. Minnesota Vikings
10% Rostered
The final wide receiver we should consider starting this week is Cleveland rookie Isaiah Bond. Bond had a minimal role in the offense in the first three games but began to find his stride in Week 4. During their loss to the Lions last Sunday, Bond caught three of his six targets for 58 yards. In Weeks 1 through 3, Bond caught just four total passes.
This weekend, the Browns will be without No. 2 WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring), who was placed on the IR. Even though the Browns will turn to rookie QB Dillon Gabriel, Bond's projected target shares give him a sneaky FLEX appeal for 14-team formats.
Luke McCaffrey (WSH) @ Los Angeles Chargers
10% Rostered
The 24-year-old is a name to monitor in deeper leagues. McCaffrey has also been able to see a larger role, similar to Tolbert, due to injuries in his offense. Their top wide receiver, Terry McLaurin, has been sidelined with a quadriceps injury and is slated to remain sidelined this Sunday when the Commanders travel to Los Angeles.
Over the past two games, the Rice product has begun to find his footing, seeing three targets each game and catching five of them for 77 yards and two touchdowns. With Jayden Daniels (knee) slated to return, McCaffrey could see his most productive showing, lining up as the No. 2 WR.
