Dynasty Fantasy Football Buys and Sells - Post 2025 NFL Draft

Drake Maye - Fantasy Football rankings, NFL DFS Picks, QB Streamers

Aidin Ebrahimi looks at three dynasty fantasy football risers and three dynasty fantasy football fallers following the 2025 NFL Draft. Whose value rose and whose dropped?

The 2025 NFL Draft is officially in the books. This year's draft was full of surprises, including some big draft-day trades, a few shocking selections, and Shedeur Sanders' unprecedented draft slide.

Now that the dust has settled, it's time to look at every team's depth chart to see which players will benefit from the arrival of their new rookie teammates and which players will have reduced opportunities.

Without further ado, let's look at three fantasy football dynasty buys and three sells immediately after the 2025 NFL Draft. For more good information on strategies for dynasty for the 2025 season, be sure to check out RotoBaller's Dynasty Fantasy Football Guide.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Fantasy Football Dynasty Buys Post 2025 NFL Draft

Drake Maye, QB, New England Patriots

The Patriots entered the 2025 NFL Draft with one goal in mind. They wanted to surround Drake Maye with as many offensive weapons as possible. Last season, Maye was supposed to sit on the bench and learn from veteran Jacoby Brissett.

However, Brissett was so ineffective in his first five starts that the team decided to skip the first part of Maye's development and throw him straight into the fire.

Maye showed real promise as a rookie, as he had five games with a passer rating over 90.0 and two games with over 50 rushing yards. Unfortunately, he also had his fair share of poor performances, as he threw an interception in seven consecutive games, and only managed to lead the Pats to one win in games he started and finished.

But if you've watched the film, you'd know that it's not all Maye's fault. Some players have that "it" factor that can't be determined by the numbers alone, and Maye certainly has that.

The Pats just didn't have enough talent around him to get the most out of their young signal-caller. With a weak WR corps and an even weaker offensive line, Maye's work was cut out for him from the start.

Starting LT Vederian Lowe was one of the worst starting offensive linemen in the league last year, and he couldn't prevent Maye from having five games with four sacks taken.

New England decided to replace Lowe by drafting LSU's Will Campbell with the fourth overall pick. Campbell allowed just five sacks in three years at LSU, whereas Lowe allowed five sacks in the 2024 season alone.

The Pats were not done there, though, as they also drafted RB TreVeyon Henderson, Cam Ward's former target in WR Kyle Williams, and C Jared Wilson, who is a great athlete and improved every year while he was at Georgia.

Henderson will be a part of a revamped rushing attack (which we will get to later), while Williams will form a solid trio with DeMario Douglas and new signing Stefon Diggs.

Campbell and Wilson also have the potential to fix the Pats' O-line woes immediately and give Maye more time to work his magic. All in all, this was a great draft for the Patriots, and their QB1 finally has adequate weapons at his disposal.

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears

Drake Maye isn't the only QB from the 2024 NFL Draft who features on this list. Caleb Williams, who was drafted two spots ahead of Maye as the No. 1 overall pick, was the only QB in the top three who failed to make the Pro Bowl last year.

Williams' career got off to a great start, as he led the Bears to a 4-2 record. But nothing was the same after Jayden Daniels' incredible Hail Mary to beat the Bears in Week 8.

From Week 8 to Week 17, Williams went 0-10 while getting sacked 47 times. He only threw one pick during that stretch, but he didn't throw too many touchdowns (10), and his 6.2 yards per attempt left a lot to be desired. Naturally, the Bears decided to go all-in this offseason to help Williams get his career back on track.

They added three superstar offensive linemen (Joe Thuney, Jonah Jackson, and Drew Dalman) to the team before the draft, while also drafting star TE Colston Loveland and WR Luther Burden III, who was once the top offensive recruit in the country.

Loveland is a reliable pass-catcher who can help boost Williams' numbers in the end zone, while Burden is a fantastic deep threat who only fell this year due to an injury-riddled 2024 campaign. Don't forget about DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, either.

Williams now has an amazing new offensive line, coupled with a great collection of receiving talent, not to mention a gifted new head coach in Ben Johnson. Don't be surprised when Williams finally becomes the first quarterback in Bears history to have a 4,000-yard season.

Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets

Right before the draft, Breece Hall suddenly found his name in plenty of trade rumors. Many people thought the Jets would draft a running back and move on from their young running back. However, the Jets decided to stay put and didn't draft any running backs.

Hall wasn't traded, either, so it's safe to assume he'll get one more year to prove his worth to the Jets. The Jets drafted offensive lineman Armand Membou, who had a dominant 2024 season at Missouri.

The Jets have slowly built a solid O-line unit, and it seems like Membou and 2024 first-round pick Olu Fashanu are the final pieces of the puzzle. Since the team also didn't draft a QB, it'll stick with Justin Fields, who isn't exactly renowned for his throwing ability.

This means the offensive focus will be on the ground game, and new OC Tanner Engstrand could learn from his time in Detroit, one of the best rushing teams in the NFL in recent seasons, to help Hall finally break out and secure a big payday.

Fantasy Football Dynasty Sells Post 2025 NFL Draft

Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers

In the final game of the Packers' 2024 regular season, Christian Watson tore his ACL, which meant he'd most likely miss the entire 2025 season. So, it wasn't shocking to see the Packers drafting a mid-round WR like Savion Williams.

But things turned out quite differently on draft night. Not only did they draft Williams, but they also drafted Matthew Golden, who was the 23rd overall pick.

These two will join Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks in Green Bay's WR room, and it looks like Doubs will be the odd man out.

This was the best situation possible for Doubs, as he was the most experienced player in a young WR room, and was able to be the star of the show in some weeks. It's doubtful he'll get a similar opportunity anywhere else, and his dynasty value might have already peaked.

Najee Harris, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

For four years, Najee Harris put up big counting stats while lacking efficiency and explosiveness, which ultimately resulted in the Steelers deciding to move on from him. The Chargers signed him to a one-year, $9.5 million contract in the offseason, and it was assumed that he would be the team's lead back.

Unfortunately for Harris, the Chargers drafted UNC running back Omarion Hampton with the 22nd overall pick, which will create a confusing situation for both players, at least in the short term.

The Chargers will likely use Harris to mentor Hampton before they bench him for the young star, which isn't a great situation for the former Pro Bowler. Unless Harris has an all-time great breakout season, his fate has been sealed.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots

Just like Najee Harris, Rhamondre Stevenson is another back from the 2021 draft class who might have just lost his starting spot. Unlike Harris, Stevenson seems to be a part of the Patriots' long-term plans, as he signed a four-year, $36 million contract extension in the 2024 offseason.

That was supposed to be the year Stevenson became a star, but his progress stagnated, and he even got benched for a week in the middle of the season.

Stevenson will now have to share the workload with 2024 national champion TreVeyon Henderson, which will cause his fantasy value to plummet. These two have the potential to form a very good "running back by committee" partnership on the field, but we're talking about fantasy football here.

Stevenson will no longer have the fantasy value he once had, and it'll get worse and worse until Henderson becomes the undisputed RB1 in a few years.
