DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/4/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Oscar Tshiebwe daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 3/4/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

Our last huge Saturday of the 2022-23 college basketball season is upon us. Next Saturday will have some conference tournament finals and semifinals, but this is the last one where we see cherry-picked conference games on several different slates. Our main slate has 12 games to choose from with Alabama heading to College Station, Ohio State heading up to East Lansing, The Hall heading down to Providence, and Iowa State heading down I-35 to Waco as the nooners.

An hour later, we have Georgia heading over on I-20 to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks. 2 pm is packed with action. Kentucky heads to Fayetteville to take on the Hogs. Tennessee heads down to Auburn to face the Tigers. St. John's leaves the big city for Milwaukee to take on Marquette. Louisville heads over to Charlottesville to take on the Hoos. This window ends with K-State in Morgantown to take on the Mountaineers. A half-hour later, the Bees climb Chestnut Hill to take on Boston College. We close this out with Oklahoma hosting TCU. This is going to be a great way to send out the regular season!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/4/23, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($9,500)

I will play Nowell in almost any matchup because even if his shots aren't falling, his outstanding peripheral numbers ensure that he still hits value for us. He was cold from the floor again against Oklahoma, missing everything from inside the arc, but he still managed 38.25 DraftKings points. He went nuts on West Virginia in the first meeting, putting up 56.25 DraftKings points. Judging by recent performances, that's probably too high, but Nowell is a guy that you can count on at least 35 from, making him a must in cash games. I will likely go with Kolek in GPP formats though.

Miles Kelly, Georgia Tech ($7,100)

Kelly is closing the season strong, scoring in double figures in five straight games and scoring 73 points in the last three games alone. He was instrumental in the upset of Syracuse in the Loud House and is still putting up decent peripheral numbers. We're here for the scoring though. That makes Kelly a little bit of a risk, but the shot volume is there, and despite Boston College's clampdown of Virginia a couple of games ago, they still allow around 75 points per game. There is good potential here for the price.

Jaeden Zackery, Boston College ($5,900)

Zackery isn't shooting anywhere near the clip that he did last year. He's down a shade over five percent from the floor and down a staggering 13.2% from beyond the arc despite similar shot volume. However, Zackery is up over 50% shooting in his last two games and in five of the last eight. That has resulted in a nice increase in points to go with higher assist totals – he has topped his season average in assists in each of the last four games. Zackery may be due for a breakout game soon. Considering Tech's perimeter defense, this could be the place.

Jahmai Mashack, Tennessee ($4,200)

Just when it looked like Mashack's playing time was going to dry up with James and Philips back, Zakai Zeigler goes down and Tyreke Key is still banged up. Even if Mashack doesn't start, he should still see quite a few minutes. He has at least two steals in five straight games and is putting up solid numbers across the board. He's a great bargain at this price with the Vols still banged up in the backcourt.

Also consider: Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($9,100); Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($8,600); A.J. Hoggard, Michigan State ($8,000); Posh Alexander, St. John's ($7,400); Kyle Sturdivant, Georgia Tech ($6,000); Jaden Akins, Michigan State ($5,400); Andre Curbelo, St. John's ($4,900); Jahvon Quinerly, Alabama ($4,700); Otega Oweh, Oklahoma ($3,700)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,100)

Tshiebwe had two dreadful games (for him anyway) at the beginning of February, but he is back with six straight games of 30+ DraftKings points. The problem is that we need more than 30 at his price and only three of them have gone for more than 37. However, Tsheibwe has cleared 50 in each of the last two games so there is reason for optimism. Arkansas shut him down the first time around, but what are the chances that Oscar only takes six shots again? That's what I thought. He should at least flirt with 50 here.

Joel Soriano, St. John's ($8,700)

If you're strapped for cash, Soriano is one of the very few players that I would fade Oscar for. Soriano doesn't have an upside in the 50s as Oscar does, but he is a double-double machine and hasn't been below 30 DraftKings points in a month. Even Tshiebwe can't say that. Soriano put up 43.75 DraftKings points on Marquette the first time around. If the Eagles have a weakness, it's on the inside and Soriano can exploit that again.

Malik Hall, Michigan State ($5,500)

There is one thing that is universally feared throughout college basketball: Michigan State rounding into form in March. Hall has scored 48 points in the last four games to go with his usual strong boardwork and solid defense. The emergence of Hall as a scorer is something that the Spartans sorely needed. The shot volume is there, and as long as hall keeps scoring like he is, it will stay that way.

Tre King, Iowa State ($3,500)

With Caleb Grill's dismissal from the team, that should open up some more playing time for King. When Grill was sidelined in January, it was King that graduated to the starting lineup with Osun Ossuniyi filling in bench minutes. King likely won't play more than 20 minutes or so, but he has been a solid producer in his limited court time. He's a good way to get both Oscar and Soriano in your lineups.

Also consider: Ja'Von Franklin, Georgia Tech ($8,500); Oso Ighodaro, Marquette ($7,900); Emanuel Miller, TCU ($7,400); Jayden Gardner, Virginia ($7,300); Ben Vander Plas, Virginia ($6,200); David Joplin, Marquette ($5,200); Jonathan Tchamwa-Tchatchoua, Baylor ($4,800); Felix Okpara, Ohio State ($4,500);
