Atlanta Hawks center Kristaps Porzingis (illness, injury management) won't play on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Porzingis logged 30 minutes in Friday's NBA Cup loss to the Toronto Raptors, finishing with 17 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks. As expected, he'll take the night off on Saturday before presumably returning on Monday versus the Clippers. Trae Young (knee) is already on the shelf. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (back) and Jalen Johnson (quadriceps) are both questionable. As a result, Onyeka Okongwu, Zaccharie Risacher, and Dyson Daniels could find themselves carrying most of the load on the scoring end.--Dennis Clausen

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (toe) won't play on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls. The 26-year-old missed the first seven games of the 2025 campaign while recovering from toe surgery. He had 20 points and nine assists in Friday's NBA Cup win over the Washington Wizards. However, as expected, Garland will get the night off to rest. He'll likely be back for Monday's game in Miami. In the meantime, Jaylon Tyson, averaging 13.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks in six starts this season, is the favorite to re-enter the starting lineup. If that's the case, Tyson would be a viable streaming option for fantasy managers.--Dennis Clausen

Washington Wizards guard Kyshawn George (illness) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The 22-year-old has played well this season, averaging 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.1 blocks. He popped up on Friday's injury report because of an illness heading into the NBA Cup loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, George is now in danger of missing his second contest of the 2025 campaign. With Bilal Coulibaly (calf) and Khris Middleton (right knee, injury management) already ruled out, the Wizards may need Tre Johnson and Bub Carrington to remain in the starting lineup. If that's the case, Johnson and Carrington would be worth streaming in deep fantasy setups. That would also apply to Corey Kispert and Justin Champagnie, with the duo combining for 22 points, 14 rebounds, and three steals from off the bench versus the Cavs.--Dennis Clausen

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (knee) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Wizards. He missed the last six contests because of a sprained right knee. Although it seems Lively is moving in the right direction, he likely won't be back in action on Saturday night. With Anthony Davis (calf) and Daniel Gafford (ankle) both questionable, the Mavs may still have sufficient coverage underneath the rim. However, if Davis, Gafford, and Lively can't suit up, P.J. Washington may get all the minutes he can handle at the five. Moussa Cisse, who had 10 points, eight rebounds, and one block in 14 minutes on Friday versus Memphis, might also find himself in the starting lineup. If anything, Cisse could get meaningful work from off the bench, making him a risky, high-upside streaming option for fantasy managers.--Dennis Clausen

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards. He missed the first five games to begin the 2025 campaign. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old tweaked his right ankle in Friday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, so there's a chance he'll miss another contest. It doesn't sound as if the injury is too serious. Still, the team will likely play it safe. Anthony Davis (calf) is questionable. Dereck Lively II (knee) is doubtful. If Gafford, Davis, and Lively aren't available, P.J. Washington may see more work at the five position. Moussa Cisse, who had 10 points, eight boards, and one block in 14 minutes on Friday night, may also move into the starting lineup, giving him streaming potential for those participating in deep fantasy setups.--Dennis Clausen

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (calf) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards. AD suffered a left calf strain during a meeting with the Indiana Pacers on October 29. Unfortunately, the injury has sidelined him for the last four games. Although his latest designation is a step in the right direction, the team will presumably remain cautious, so fantasy managers shouldn't get their hopes up regarding a potential return on Saturday night. Daniel Gafford (ankle) is also questionable, while Dereck Lively II (knee) is doubtful. As a result, P.J. Washington may slide over to the five spot. There's also a chance Moussa Cisse, who had 10 points, eight rebounds, and one block in Friday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, may find himself in the starting lineup if Davis, Gafford, and Lively are inactive.--Dennis Clausen

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George (knee) will remain out for Saturday's game against the Toronto Raptors and Sunday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. He hasn't played this season, as he continues to work his way back from knee surgery. Fortunately, it appears things may be moving in a positive direction, with the multi-time All-Star scheduled to meet with doctors this weekend. Assuming all goes well, it may be the "final hurdle" that needs to be cleared before the team finally gets a clear update on his return to the court. George has been practicing in full in the last two weeks, although fantasy managers will feel better once a firm return date has been set. With that said, the 35-year-old could be limited for at least a week or two upon his return. However, once George and Joel Embiid (knee) are fully healthy, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe might see a decline in statistical contributions.--Dennis Clausen

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (right ankle sprain) will remain out for Saturday's matchup against the Phoenix Suns, marking his third straight missed game. Leonard had been in excellent form before the injury, averaging 24.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals on 50.5% shooting through six games. In his absence, the Clippers have relied on James Harden to lead the offense, while John Collins and Derrick Jones Jr. have stepped up with added scoring and defensive activity. Bogdan Bogdanovic has also made the most of his extended minutes and could continue to contribute as a steady scoring option on the wing. Fantasy managers should stay patient with Leonard, as this appears to be a short-term setback. Once he's cleared, he should quickly resume his high-efficiency, two-way production for the Clippers.--Brian Dailisan

Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks (core muscle strain) is listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers after missing the team's last six games. Brooks opened the season strong, averaging 19.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in three appearances while firing 10.3 triples per game. His scoring aggression and defensive intensity gave Phoenix a much-needed edge on the wing before the injury halted his momentum. If Brooks returns, he should immediately slot back into a key role alongside Devin Booker and Jalen Green, likely reclaiming 30-plus minutes as a high-usage perimeter option. Fantasy managers should stash or re-add him where available, as his scoring volume and defensive contributions fit well in both points and category formats. With the Suns leaning on Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale in his absence, Brooks' return would stabilize their rotation and restore his mid-tier fantasy appeal.--Brian Dailisan

Indiana Pacers guard Quenton Jackson (right hamstring strain) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup against the Denver Nuggets. The 27-year-old had been one of the few bright spots in Indiana's injury-riddled backcourt, but this setback is another big blow for a team already missing multiple key guards. Jackson averaged 11.8 points, 3.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game while shooting 54.1% from the field and 50% from three, showing flashes of real offensive upside and poise as a temporary floor general. His absence leaves Ben Sheppard and RayJ Dennis to handle the bulk of playmaking duties, though both have struggled with consistency. The silver lining is that Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) appears close to returning, which should help stabilize the rotation. For fantasy managers, Jackson can be dropped in most formats for now but remains a name to watch once he's healthy again.--Brian Dailisan

Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard (left shoulder strain) is listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Denver Nuggets. The 26-year-old has played only one game this season but looks close to returning, which is big for a Pacers team missing Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) T.J. McConnell (hamstring), and Bennedict Mathurin (toe). Last season, Nembhard averaged 10.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 28.9 minutes per game while shooting 45.8% from the field. His poise and versatility make him more than just a temporary filler. With Indiana currently rotating Ben Sheppard, RayJ Dennis, and Quenton Jackson (hamstring) at point guard, Nembhard should immediately take over primary ball-handling duties once cleared. McConnell's eventual return might shake things up a bit, but for now, Nembhard deserves to be added in all formats for his strong assist and steal upside.--Brian Dailisan

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe (left calf strain) has been listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. The 22-year-old appears on track to suit up despite the minor injury, which is welcome news for fantasy managers after his strong start to the season. Sharpe has averaged 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 26.8 minutes per game, emerging as Portland's top scoring option with Damian Lillard (achilles) and Scoot Henderson (hamstring) sidelined. While his efficiency has dipped (.370 FG%, .263 3PT%), his growing confidence as a slasher and secondary playmaker has kept his value afloat in both points and category leagues. If active, Sharpe should continue to carry a heavy offensive load alongside Deni Avdija and Jrue Holiday, offering solid scoring and defensive stats with room for upside if his shot starts falling again.--Brian Dailisan

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (right ankle soreness) was ruled out of Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies and did not return, according to Marc Stein. The 27-year-old big man lasted just 12 minutes before exiting, marking yet another setback for a Mavs frontcourt already missing Dereck Lively II (knee). Gafford's absence opens the door for Dwight Powell to log extra minutes, though fantasy managers shouldn't expect much upside there. If Gafford misses more time, P.J. Washington could slide up to the small-ball five in certain lineups, offering a short-term boost in rebounds and defensive stats. Gafford had been averaging 9.0 points on 71.4% shooting with 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 19.8 minutes per game this season. Managers should monitor his status closely ahead of Dallas' next matchup against Washington.--Brian Dailisan

San Antonio Spurs center/power forward Kelly Olynyk (heel) was questionable for the first half of the team's back-to-back on Friday at home against the Rockets, but he was upgraded to available. In his season debut on Wednesday, he chipped in four points, four rebounds, and three assists across nine minutes. With Luke Kornet (ankle) sidelined again, Olynyk will back up start center Victor Wembanyama on Friday. However, he could end up sitting out Saturday's game against the Pelicans, which would open more time for Bismack Biyombo. Olynyk doesn't seem ready for a ton of playing time just yet, but he is available and starting to find his role in the Spurs frontcourt.--Zach Thompson

San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Jeremy Sochan (wrist) will be available to play on Friday night when the Spurs host the Rockets. Sochan missed the first six games of the season before making his season debut in 23 minutes off the bench on Wednesday against the Lakers. He chipped in 16 points, two rebounds, and a steal before fouling out. He tied for the second-most points on the team and should stay very involved in the second unit in the Spurs' NBA Cup matchup Friday night. As he ramps up and establishes his role, Julian Champagnie will likely play fewer minutes in the near future.--Zach Thompson
