Early-Week Fantasy Basketball Category Streamers for Week 19

NBA fantasy baseball streamers waiver wire pickups

Thunder Dan Palyo looks at some early-week waiver wire options for fantasy basketball leagues. These players may be free agents to target on waivers in Week 19.

It's one of the lighter weeks of the season here in Week 19 as only around half of the teams in the league play four games with the other half playing only two or three. We have only four games tonight and Thursday night with Tuesday (9) and Wednesday (10) being the days with the most action.

Most leagues limit how many players you can stream each week in daily leagues. If your league only allows three moves per week, you need to be very efficient with your moves and grab players who will help you maximize your games played and help you win an extra category or two of counting stats.

The goal of this article each Monday morning will be to help you plan out your roster moves for the first half of the week. Planning ahead is important and I always include which teams play on optimal days for streaming in the very first section so you can look for additional players that I don't mention as well. All the rostered percentages used in this article are from Yahoo! Let's see who can help us start the week strong!

Weekly Schedule: Monday to Thursday

Teams that play only one game (AVOID): ATL, CLE, DEN, MIN, PHX, SAC, UTA

Teams that play three games (TARGET): PHI

Teams that play a B2B set (TARGET): BKN, CHI, HOU, LAL, MEM, OKC, POR

Shallow League Streaming Options

Donte DiVincenzo - PG/SG (44%)

Donte D has been cooking lately and just posted a really solid 21-8-4 line with 4 steals last night against the Timberwolves to remind us of just how fantasy-friendly his game can be. He's going to keep getting solid run until the Warriors get healthy.

Kevin Love - PF/C (43%)

Love has new life in Miami, where he has started both games since making his debut. He had a solid double-double with 13 points and 13 boards against Charlotte and he's certainly worth adding for now if you need help in points, rebounds, and threes. Hopefully, he can stay healthy and continue to be productive.

Malaki Branham - SG/SF (40%)

I'm hanging onto Branham right now in a competitive league and hoping he continues to get the opportunities going forward. He finally had a down game where he scored only 13 points last time out, but if Jones and Vassell remain sidelined indefinitely, then we should expect the young guard to keep getting minutes.

Josh Richardson - SF/SF (37%)

We go from one current Spur to the former Spur, Richardson, who has worked his way into the starting lineup for his new team, New Orleans. J-Rich is a guy who should be on your radar and is streamable based on his ability to provide across-the-board numbers (just don't count on FG%).

Marvin Bagley III - PF/C (35%)

I just grabbed Bagley in a few leagues, even if it's just for tonight because Duren is out again for Detroit and they face Charlotte, a team that has bled production to big men all year. He had a ridiculous 21-18 in 28 minutes against the Raptors in his first game back and Detroit has shown that they want to play him when he's healthy.

Deep Leagues Streaming Options

Devonte' Graham - PG/SG (18%)

The shine has worn off Graham after that 31-point debut performance. But he's still seeing minutes in the 20s and has scored in double-digits in all but one game as a Spur. His assist numbers in San Antonio have been solid as he's averaging nearly five dimes per game since joining the Spurs.

Tari Eason - SF/PF (21%)

Eason had the kind of breakout game we have been waiting for last night when he went 15-10-3 with 2 steals against the Trail Blazers in 28 minutes. He's someone you should be adding for the stretch run with the hopes that more consistent playing time leads to more of these types of box scores.

Cam Reddish - SF/PF (21%)

Cam played second fiddle to Dame's 71 last night, but he had 18 and 24 points in the two games before that and still played only 30 minutes last night, too. Portland seems like they want to give him a shot and you should, too.

Drew Eubanks - PF/C (15%)

He's boring, but as long as Nurkic is out, he's worth using in deeper formats as he finds a way to produce just enough.

Isaiah Joe - PG/SG (13%)

Once SGA returns, he could easily turn into a pumpkin as their rotations can often go 12-deep with a bunch of guys all chopping up the minutes. However, 24 and 28 points in his last two games should have your attention, and be ready to scoop him up if we hear about SGA being shut down at any point.

Jae'Sean Tate - SF/PF (11%)

Tate is another talented young player in Houston who could emerge down the stretch for the Rockets. His minutes are trending up and while he isn't as exciting as Eason, he does offer some excellent FG% to go along with some scoring.

Kris Dunn - PG/SG (4%)

Utah only plays once (tomorrow) and then they're off til Friday. But if Sexton remains out, we could see another big performance from Dunn, who went 15-7-8 against the Spurs on Saturday night. He's always been a stat-stuffer, especially on defense, and is looking to make the most of his chance to revitalize his career here.
