Nico Sturm Activated From Injured Reserve
Minnesota Wild center Nico Sturm (back) has been removed from Injured Reserve ahead of Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The German veteran is available to make his season debut, although it's unclear whether he will play in Friday's contest or join the lineup on Sunday against the Winnipeg Jets. Strum adds experience to the Wild lineup and won't likely make an impact in fantasy hockey. Last season, Strum had 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 62 contests split between the San Jose Sharks and Florida Panthers. The Wild also activated defenseman Zach Bogosian (lower body) from Injured Reserve on Friday.
