Dallas Stars forward Matt Duchene (upper body) will be out for a second consecutive game on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings. The veteran continues to deal with an upper-body injury and has featured just once in the past three games. Duchene has opened Year 17 in the NHL with two points (one goal, one assist) in four games. The Stars have struggled to generate offense without him and will go with a new-look attack on Thursday night. Sam Steel is set to skate on the first line, with Mavrik Bourque also continuing in a top-six role.--Taavi Pailk
